snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Kyo -- present)
Well, here I am waiting for a phone call from the lady who's in charge of hiring for Data Entry. Luckily I wasn't planning on doing much of anything today, except possibly get some lunch and buy some gas. Maybe get some bread. All I know is that she'd be calling sometime this morning. *crosses fingers* I hope it goes well.

I was able to download a Solitaire game for my Mac, so I've been playing that a lot. Although, I might have to cut back because my eyes begin to hurt from staring at the computer for long periods of time. I'm debating on if I want to take my computer with me when we go out of town next weekend. I mean, I'm not going to be gone all that long, but still. Oh well. I still have some time.

Later on today, I plan on going to get my pedicure for the wedding. I just hope it lasts for a week and a half. I've been wearing mostly closed toed shoes, and they tend to be brutal to pedicures. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair trimmed. I need a touch up, but I don't think I have the time for that.

I may do a write up on SDK 22 and FMA 13 on [livejournal.com profile] ryudoshi later on. It depends on if I'm in the mood. I do need to work more on my story for ATACT sometime. I'm kinda stuck. I hate writer's block...

It's Friday!! *dances for joy* I have a much greater appreciation for Friday's since I started working. However, my excitement has been slightly dampened by the fact I also work a couple of hours on Saturday too.

The network went down today at work for a time. No one could do anything at all on the computers. And since what I do heavily involves the computer… My thought is that since we're scanning the paper charts onto the computer database, what'll happen when something like this happens again, and for a longer period of time? We'd be up a creek, that's what.

I bought a Runaways print the other day. It was a steal for $25! I bought it from Christina (the colorist of the series. She has an LJ). I'm pretty excited. Useful? No. Worth it? You bet! I think I'll have it framed when it comes. *giddy*

Mom wants to go to the movies this weekend. She has gift certificates she got from Christmas and wants to use them.

I was playing DVD's on Hakuryuu yesterday. It was kinda fun. My Internet connection is sporadic at best, but I can get on for short periods of time. Snoopy plays DVD's, but like with everything else, it's extremely slow.

Now, the laundry awaits. *flutters away*

I was scanning at the OB/GYN place today. Instead of doing the chats, we take the documents out of them and file them into the appropriate slots. It makes things a lot easier.

I may have to take Hakuryuu to the local Apple store to figure out why his Internet connection keeps crapping out on me. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

Also, a few volumes of my manga series are due out today, so I hope to be able to find them while I'm out tomorrow.

Later on, I'm getting my hair cut and colored. I'm getting tired of my blah hairstyle. I'm thinking positively! I shall hopefully be finished before Lost comes on. Pictures to follow.

Pronounciation: /yoo-FOHR/I-a/
n: a feeling of well-being or elation

Here I am, typing this on Hakuryuu right this minute! *squuuueeeee* I'm still learning the rope of how it all works, especially since I'm not used to using a Mac, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually. For instance, in posting an LJ entry. This is my second one since for some reason I lost my first one. Mom had to go to the FedEx place since no one was home when it was originally delivered, so I need to do something extra nice for her. And, dork that I am, I photographed the whole unpackaging procedure...

Work today was super stressful. I had Messages today and since most of the doctors and nurse Practitioners (except for one) , and so the messages were heavy today (on a normally light day). So, needless to say, I was frantic a bit. I was also beginning to feel the effects of my Crohn's also, which I didn't need. I have to meet with my Supervisor tomorrow morning, but I have no idea as to what it's in regards to. And, naturally, I tend to lean toward it being something bad... Ugh.

[livejournal.com profile] flamika, your card got sent back to me yesterday. I sent it to your school address, so maybe you could email it to me so I can compare it to the one I have in my address book.

Well, I'm gonna go and fiddle around with Hakuryuu some more and maybe peruse my FL some and try to find some of my links. Cool, this one is so much faster than Snoopy!

Word of the day: circumlocution
Pronunciation: /sir-kum-lo-KYOO-shun/
n : an indirect, roundabout way of speaking
snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Hakuryuu -- vacation (tad_coast))
The thing I worry about it the fact that I'm beginning to feel the physical effects of the stress of my job. I mean, Crohn's Colitis doesn't take kindly to high stress, and double the fact that I also suffer from anxiety (which just thrills me to no end). The one bad thing (aside from the actual health issues themselves), is the fact since I have no insurance (and no way to obtain any for an unknown period of time). I mean, that's my main issue. I just hope it doesn't get to the point where someone come homes to find me passed out on the lawn.

On a much higher note, I ordered my MacBook (Hakuryuu) and paid a wee extra so it'll get to me before the end of the week. *giddy* I also stopped by the bank today to deposit my check I got from my grandparents, which will go toward reading material (of course). Some of which will contribute to the purchase of Saiyuki Reload 6 that's supposed to come out next week. Maybe also a certain calendar...

Aside from the highs and lows, everything else is pretty smooth sailing, which is how I like it.

In 2007, snapdragon76 resolves to...
Backup my wallflower regularly.
Be nicer to radiofreebanri.
Become a better manga.
Learn to play the startrek.
Put fifty books a month into my savings account.
Eat more movies.
Get your own New Year's Resolutions:

Fifty books a month in my savings account? I can handle that... even though my bank account might not be able to.

So, this New Year's has gotten off to a mild start. Saturday mom had her own stuff she needed to do, which meant that I could do whatever I wanted to to. Since she has her own wheels now, it could actually be accomplished.

Yesterday I didn't go to church because I was feeling sick. Nausea and all that wonderful stuff. So I entertained myself by watching "Naruto Years Eve" on Cartoon Network.

Last night we watched the ball drop and toasted with our sparkling cider. T'was a very nice time. Before that, we watched "Little Women" on DVD.

Today, not a whole lot is in the works. I plan on spending quite a bit of time on my computer and watching some "Freaks and Geeks" that I had gotten for Christmas. I kinda plan on taking down my Christmas lights from my window.

And I'm thisclose to getting my MacBook. Just a few more days. And what's nice is that they have free 24-hour shipping. Soon, Hakuryuu will be mine! *giddy*

Well, I hope everyone has a pleasant New Year!!
