Welcome to 2010!!
As I tend to do this time of year, it's time for an end of year first sentence (or two) post. You've seen those before...
January: happy new year, everyone!!
February:our water heater is on the fritz and i want to take a nice hot shower, but i can't!
March:pow wow was fun, but maaaaan do i ache
April:Hi all. No, I'm not dead, just not had a lot to post lately, so I didn't.
May:the bathroom is the cleanest it's ever been in while... and it probably won't last long. at least not the two weeks we have left.
June:gonna go see up in a few. looks to be a winner!
July:I'll make this entry pretty short since I'm feeling kinda blah right now and am trying to fight off a headache. (not technically the first post of the month, but that one was a picture post, so I opted for the second one).
August:Well, so much for a good start to the weekend. Our car died on us.
September:yaa know, eric is one of the few people i've seen (i.e. not that many) who can really work a dress. #trueblood
October:i have been on a major #theoffice kick lately! mainlined all the dvd's over the past few days. and jim and pam are all kinds of adorable...
November:i'm about to dig into some fresh made pumpkin bread. uh-huh, that's right.
December:OK peeps! Here's the second reminder to get your addresses to me if you want in on the awesome Christmas card action! Aaaaaand that be it!
I'm not making any resolutions for myself this year. I will, however set a goal. That goal is to try and lose at least 30-40 lbs by the end of 2010.I figure I have a set time and set number, so it might be a smidge easier. I have the means, but not always the motivation. I hope to be able to address that over the course of the year. I want to be able to look at photos of mysef and not cringe in terror...
Went to the movies again. Saw
Princess and the Frog. Very nice. Disney does it again. It's nice to see them return to traditional animation again. 3-D is neat and all, but 2-D has a certain nostalgic fondness for me. I and do admit to tearing up in a certain scene.
We also went to another showing of
Sherlock Holmes. Still kicks ass...
