Sorry I haven't been posted much lately. I've been too distracted by the shiny.

Anyway, the countdown to vacation has officially begun. Even though I technically don't have enough PTO to cover the entire time we're gone, I'm still not changing the length. I'm bringing my laptop with me, so I'll try and post updates when I get the chance, as well as pictures and video. I'm bringing along my NECA figures of Jasper and Alice as sort of travel mascots. Basically I'll be taking pictures of them in various locations... if I can manage it. This will be my first attempt in doing so, so it'll be kinda experimental.

I've been watching a lot of MST3K this weekend, either via DVD's or live stream. I like the live stream, because I get to see episodes I don't have access to otherwise. Sweeeet.

Mom and I went to see Secretariat this weekend. I definitely recommend it. It's very good. Even though you kinda know what happens, you still feel on edge about how it ends. It makes sense in context.

Aaaaaand, I can't think of anything else to write about, so I'll be closing things out. Ciao!

Had a doctor's appointment today. It went well. Still healthy, so that's good to know. He did mention something about my weight. I mean, I'm not fat by any means, but it seems I'm on the "high normal side of the BMI." Bleh. I know I need to be more active and stuff. I've been trying to watch what I eat and all, but I can probably do a bit better. I need to get more active and all too. We have a small exercise room here at the complex, but we need to look into using it. I guess this also means that I need to drag out my Yoga books again... Maybe I'll actually get around to kissing my lil jelly rolls good-bye.

Was I ever swamped at work today! I had a ton of fee tickets come in and was only able to post about half of them before I had to leave. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

After weeks of waiting, I FINALLY got my grubby mitts on a copy of the Furuba Cat Fanbook. *squee* And I squeed at seeing umadoshi's name!! BTW, interesting middle name you have there, Ysa.

Oh, and I happened to notice a small error, too. In Ayame's profile, a quote that was spoken by Haru ended up under Aya's profile instead. Other than that, an excellent job!

And I got vol 6 of ES and more Bleach (of course).

I watched some of my MST3K episode last night. It had been awhile, so I figured I'd pull 'em out again. Last night was 'Space Mutiny'. I always rewind to the part where the "hero" screams like a girl when his "girlfriend" shimmies down a rope. I am always amused by that...


Mom is still doing good. She has to stay on a liquid diet for awhile, but so far she's not had any more pain. *knocks on wood*

Well, as hard as this may be for me, I've come to a decision. I may have to cull some of my friends from my FL. It'll be hard since I have almost 60, but I need to compact my FL some. So here it is:

I think mom has definitely joined the ranks of Veronica Mars fandom. She was watching the show we taped on Tuesday since she missed most of it while she was in the ER. She did ask me about the note Meg had hidden that Duncan had found. I told her I thought she had written it to Duncan and hid it where she knew he'd be the only one to find it.

Well, gotta go. A lot of stuff to do. Mom's not gonna be home until real late because there's a Women's Ministry meeting tonight, so she had to borrow the car. Par-tay!! LOL

Well, the majority of Super Cleaning is over. I just have to clean my bathroom and it'll be finished. It won't take me very long to do it. Mom got burt Saturday at the yard sale. Whoo! She was one crispy critter. I just finished posting on mst3k about Revenge of the Creature. It was so funny. I think it's one of my favorites of the ones they've done. That and The Giant Mantis. They guys were in top form. At one point, Tom was trying to "peek" down one of the character's dress. I said, "I guess Tom's trying to be a Peeping Tom!" ha Ha HA! (Well, I thought it was funny.)Anyway, on the AS boards I'm trying to corral everyone on the "Trigun Discussion Group" into helping me "kidnap" Amon from Witch Hunter Robin. I realize that it doesn't "technically" have to do with Trigun but we have fun on there anyway. (If you ever saw WHR, you'd understand his appeal ^_~) *ahem* Well, I'm going to goof off a little bit more and then I have to clean the bathroom. *happy happy joy joy*
