Well, here I am, using my new LJ client. Never used one before. Seems pretty easy. I may download one on my desktop, but I haven't used it for a whole week. Poor Snoopy, all neglected...

Sorry about the lack of posting yesterday. I had one all written out, but my Internet decided to go all wonky and crap all over me and I lost my post. Since it was pretty detailed, I didn't feel like reposting everything all over again (which is one of the reasons I broke down and actually got a client). So I'm fine, in case anyone was worried!

Anyway, to recap what I tried to post yesterday, work itself went pretty well. In fact, this whole week went well. Now, if the previous week had been as smooth as this one was, maybe I'd still be staying put. But, I must do my penance... I will be coming in at least once a week to help them out, so t least I'll still get to see everyone, which will be nice. It'll feel a little strange to see another girl in "my" spot, but I'll endure.

This girl the other day on the hellsing community... I feel only somewhat sorry for her, but she did kind of bing it on herself. She posts an introduction, saying how much of a fan she was, but she posted it all in 'netspeak. *headdesk* Well, the response was huge, mostly in derision and mocking. I mean, she really had no excuse for her doing it, despite her claims of being only 13. I mean, I never spoke like that when I was thirteen and neither did any of my friends. Why not take the time to write out a thoughtful, well worded post instead of becoming the butt of jokes and letting people assume you're completely ignorant. If that happened on my forum, I wouldn't tolerate it. I mean, I've had to put my foot down a few times in response to some of the fangirls we have. Plus, she did this on the hellsing comm, and they're merciless on there...

Speaking of which, elantis is having her own foibles with another forum member. She agreed to write a story involving the character this one girl "adopted" (which so happens to be Sanzo. Yeah, let's not go there). Turns out, she wanted to post the story and pass it off as her own! I'm sorry, that's just not done. I mean, yeah, sometimes we tag team and write stories with other original characters and the ones that have been "adopted" already, but blatant plagerism is wrong. If she had done it, I'd have had her banned. That's something that I won't tolerate.

If you noticed, I changed my layout again. I know I kept saying I wouldn't, but I thought, "What the hell." Besides, I'm disliking what's happening with Jacen's character. I'm keeping Darth Sexy as my default icon still.

Tomorrow I have to go into work for a couple of hours. I can still sleep in some, just not until 10:00 like I have been doing...

Well, the majority of Super Cleaning is over. I just have to clean my bathroom and it'll be finished. It won't take me very long to do it. Mom got burt Saturday at the yard sale. Whoo! She was one crispy critter. I just finished posting on mst3k about Revenge of the Creature. It was so funny. I think it's one of my favorites of the ones they've done. That and The Giant Mantis. They guys were in top form. At one point, Tom was trying to "peek" down one of the character's dress. I said, "I guess Tom's trying to be a Peeping Tom!" ha Ha HA! (Well, I thought it was funny.)Anyway, on the AS boards I'm trying to corral everyone on the "Trigun Discussion Group" into helping me "kidnap" Amon from Witch Hunter Robin. I realize that it doesn't "technically" have to do with Trigun but we have fun on there anyway. (If you ever saw WHR, you'd understand his appeal ^_~) *ahem* Well, I'm going to goof off a little bit more and then I have to clean the bathroom. *happy happy joy joy*
