OK, even though I haven't read the whole book, I've been reading various snippets of it. Here's something I've noticed.

Mom's birthday went well. We had a cookout at my aunt and uncle's and the food was very delish. She got a hand painted tea cubby from my aunt (as well as some tea) and I got her am iPod shuffle for her to take to the gym when she works out. She liked both of them quite a bit. I'm glad!

I'm gonna rest my feet a bit and then finish up some laundry. Thrilling!

Well, we're back home. I slept most of the way there, primarily due to the migraine medication I took.

Busch Gardens was fun. I got to ride the roller coasters that I wanted to and mom got to go on her safari that she wanted, so all was well.

As to the rating of the roller coasters here's what I have thus far:

Sheikra/Montu -- tie
Kumba -- second
Scorpion -- third
Gwazi -- fourth

Even though I rode by myself, it was still fun.

Mom got some nice pictures during the safari. There were times when the jeep was in motion and she couldn't get steady, but I saw some of the digital photos she took and they turned out very nice.

Mom needs to take her car and get it washed due to the copious amount of Love Bug corpses smeared all over it. Needless to say, bug guts are bad for the paint job.

RE: The Sacrifice hunt:

Still ongoing. I stopped by BAM today while on the way to get gas and the lady behind the desk looked into it for me. Unfortunately, she couldn't sell me a copy or else the store would get fined since would be before the official release date. She was able to find 8 copies of it out on floor already (this being after I looked). She held back a copy for me and said I could pick it up "this week" since she wasn't sure of the official release date. I said I'd stop by on Tuesday after work. If I still don't get it, I'm gonna be pissed. Even though I already know what happens, I still want to get my grubby mitts on a copy, DAMMIT!!!!

OK, since spoilers for Sacrifice have already surfaced and certain tidbits have leaked, heretofore are my thoughts... whether you want them or not.
