In other news, I heard from the lady in regards to the Data Entry position. I have an interview set up for next Wednesday. Wish me luck!!

I also went to see if I could find an early release copy of Sacrifice. No such luck. Maybe on Thursday after my doctor's appointment I can stop by Barnes & Noble...
snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Aka no Ou -- blood splatter)
Today at work was good, except for a visit from the Red Tide. Blech. The other ladies were very sympathetic however and I didn't do too badly actually. I mistakingly packed Cheet-O's in with my lunch today and my stomach almost had an uprising, but things stayed calm. Thankfully. The thing I really hate about the RT (aside from the blood and the cramps), is the cross between feeling hungry and nauseated. I keep thinking, "Am I hungry enough to risk possibly losing it all later?" but it generally tends to go smoothly. The thing I really need is a good belch. Not one of those wannabe belches, but one of those beer-guzzling-college-boys-at-a-frat-house-party belches. I'm talkin' about a BELCH. Crude as it may be, it feels loads better afterwards.

And mom stayed home today due to the fact she felt completely miserable from her sinus drainage. I think she vacuumed. Anyway, it was nice actually being able to get home straight after work instead of waiting for mom to get off. But, it'll be very short lived (unless she's able to find a ride home by some miracle).

For some reason, I can't reply to my comments I received yesterday. It says there's an error of some sort. I'll try again later.

And finally, happy birthday wishes for two of my LJ friends, [livejournal.com profile] toriru4ever and [livejournal.com profile] sailorptah. Hopefully you'll have many more in the future.

Trivia of the day: Art Linkletter's Kids Say the Darndest Things was the best-selling nonfiction book in the U.S. for two years in a row: 1957 and 1958.
snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (GG -- Rory and Jess (boozesnooze))
Man, I'm so pissed at myself. I accidentally clicked on my username, and now I'm all purple. I've been trying to stay blue for as long as I can.

Yes, I know you all are looking at me oddly. Just chalk it up to one of my many quirks, OK?

I was able to watch 'Gilmore Girls' last night because we didn't have bible study. I'm glad I did, because Jess was back! Looking as cute as ever, I might add. Alexis is one lucky girl. I've always liked Jess and thought he and Rory were so good together...

I finished my Nakago icon yesterday. It didn't turn out too bad. I have an idea for a Kureno one, but I need my disks with my vol. 17 scans on them... and I think I packed them. T_T

Man, I cannot wait until Rusty's owner returns. Maybe then the commotion he makes at night will stop. *crosses fingers*

I'm gonna post the stuff I was going to on Halloween.
