snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (ES -- Awakening (xskadi))
Well, I finally did it. After putting it off for so long, I gathered my courage around me and did it. And the thing I feared would happen, happend. I ate some of my Pocky... and I LOVE it!!! OMGsogood! I had to put it away before I snarfed the whole package. And even though I bought two boxes, I must be careful, because I don't think there's anywhere around here that sells any. *sobs* But... I. Want. More. Damn you delicious Japanese snack food!!!

I went on a mini-snack buying spree. Mostly chocolate. I bought pudding, Snickers Popables and a package of mini Crunch bars. This is one of the signs of the Apocolypse. For I know that this means the Red Tide, is coming! *groans* My hormones are already gearing up. Now, it's only a matter of time. My doom is coming for me.

Overdramatic, maybe? Yes, but like I said, it's the hormones surging that are doing this too me. I'm not really cranky... yet. It depends on the actual Tide itself.

I'm having hair issues as well. I need a trim, but my stylist is on Maternity leave until February. My hair is at the point where it's looks limp and flat and bleh. Even blow drying it doesn't improve it all that much (although it's better than if I actually air dry it).

I was mondo busy yesterday. On top of taking grandma to her thing, I was washing my sheets and blanket as well as trying to reorganize my room somewhat. My space is pretty limited, so there's only so much I could do, but I was able to shuffle a few things so maybe my room doesn't quite have that 'refugee' look to it. I mean, it still does due to the boxes in there, but it's not quite as bad. Today is regular laundry day.

Trivia of the day: The early European umbrellas were made of wood or whalebone and covered with alpaca or oiled canvas.

Ick... I hate "the Red Tide", as you call it. Bleh, always seems to come at the most inopportune times. Like on holidays or other important occassions... so that I have to sit in a corner holding my stomach and cursing the stupid thing. -_-

But Pocky's a good snack. Lol, I hope you find a way to get more. ^^

I also call it "The Crimson Wave" or "the Week of Evil." It depends, really. There are times during when I feel like puttingon my Akito face. Which looks like this, BTW: Image

I hope I can too. This batch I got I got at EPCOT and it's kinda pricey to go to just for Pocky.

Oh! My best friend just came back from EPCOT. (So, I guess you live near Disney World/Land, ne?) She picked up this really amazing Japanese purse for me (*now wears it all the time*) that's simple and black on the front and red on the inside. ^^ But yeah... going for Pocky at EPCOT? Uhh... O_O Lol... you could order it offline. ^^ (Or, better yet, stand at the EPCOT entrance and ask people to go get you Pocky! They could be... um, your Pocky slaves!) *is being weird today* -_-

(I like "The Week of Evil" the best. Especially when it goes on for longer than a week. >_<)

Live near DW in Florida. I spent most of my time in the Japanese Pavilion when I was ther. I ate at the steakhouse (gooood) and had some greeen tea (gooooood).

I bought a bunch of stuff aside from the Pocky. I got some Panda cookies (haven't tried them yet) and some tea cups as well as tea. I also got a really cute kitty rice bowl with chopsticks and two maneki neko figures. I wanted to get a yukata, but I didn't know how to get one, so no go.

I call it the WoE when it's esspecially rough and I'm really cranky.

I just polished of the rest of the package... mmmmmmmmmm

They remind me of those chocolate coverd pretzels that I've seen in the supermarket. I think they're called "Dips" or something. I've had them before and they were delish...

Yes. Mine hit me like a tidal wave. A RED tidal wave. I was really moody and emotional yesterday I almost cried a few times.

*sigh* Sometimes it sucks being female...

A friend of mine sent me a box of strawberry Pocky that I haven't opened yet.

Yes, but I doubt I'll do anything as drastic as a sex change operation just to avoid having my period. I just wish there was an "on/off" switch, though...
