snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Aka no Ou -- blood splatter)
I got my volumes 5 and 6 of Victorian Romance Emma. Now only one more to go and it'll be complete. I have to see when it's coming out. TriMax 12 is coming out next week, so I need to check it out. Mom said she wants me to cut down on my book buying, but that's like asking me to stop breathing. Yes, it's a sickness that I don't want treated.

I may post my thoughts on [livejournal.com profile] ryudoshi eventually.

The Red Tide reared it's ugly head yesterday, so I don't know if I'll be Wii-ing it tonight or not. I may do some Mario, since I don't move around as much.

I kinda wanna see 27 Dresses sometime. Maybe this weekend. I don't know what all we're doing this weekend or anything. I'm kinda iffy on Cloverfield, even though [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's been talking about it in her blog for several months now.

So tonight I'll most likely be reading and watching some TV, I dunno yet.

Man, this was a lame post, wasn't it? Meh...

First of all: [livejournal.com profile] secondlina I GOT THE "PACKAGE" TODAY!!!!! OMG SO ADORABLE!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I have it hanging on my closet! For example.

I may even have it framed, like my friend [livejournal.com profile] kawaiiayu's drawing she did of me (which is sitting on my desk here at home). I'm even keeping the envelope because it has a Work on it!!^_____^ Oh, and it's a Q, BTW...

Work was work. 'Nuff said.

I played some Super Mario Galaxy this weekend. It rocks! It such fun, except when I had to quit because I got SUCKED INTO A BLACK HOLE!!!! I tried again yesterday, and SAME THING!!! T____T I came thisclose to reaching my goal, but I got knocked off and down I went... Grahhh.

I was able to watch at least one of the Tori DVD's. I like the videos one, although most of the time they seem a little... surreal. But music videos in general tend to be a bit surreal. Still, it's probably something I'd buy.

I reread the volumes of Victorian Romance Emma yesterday. Much squishiness for me at the end of volume 4. I need to see when the next one is coming out so I can order it. I did download and read the Emma Side Stories. There was one of William's and Hakim's ongoing tennis rivalry. Hurrr...

Mom and I went back to the gym for the first time in a few months on Saturday. We're going to be easing back into our regime. I need to make me a mix of upbeat workout songs sometime.

And, I was able to finally enjoy my bubble bath I had gotten months ago. Despite the fact our tub wasn't nearly deep enough for adequate soakage, the amount of bubbles more than made up for it.

Whew! Active day today. But, let us start at the beginning, shall we?

Yesterday I found out I'm going to be working in a different building. Starting… tomorrow. I doubt it's due to anything in particular that I've done, they just moved me to where I was needed. At least, that's what I'm telling myself. It's a weee bit further than where I was before, so I need to leave a bit earlier than I usually do. Just about 10 minutes or so, or at least until I can get the hang of my new route. Soooo, no more eating lunches with my mom. I will miss everyone at the other place though. I wish I could've said good-bye to some of them, but it was so sudden, I didn't get the chance. I'm trying not to be too anxious about it, but given my personality, it's pretty much a given. I just hope I can hear something in regards to the Data Entry job.

So this morning, I was timing myself to see how long it takes me to get from home to there. But, given this was around 10:00 this morning, the traffic flow is different, thus the extra time.

Afterwards, I went to the bookstore (which wasn't that much farther), and found Death Note 11, Vampire Knight 2 and Victorian Romance Emma 2 (finally! It was released months ago and I just now found it in the store. Stupid CMX).

After that, I wandered around until I stopped into Old Navy and picked up some of the newer longer shorts and a couple of shirts. I don't generally buy stuff there, not because I don't like the clothes, but the jeans are usually too long for me, but Capri pants are just fine.

After that, I stopped into the Hallmark store, and found a gift for mom for Mother's Day. Then I went into GameStop and browsed their consoles and various games, mentally making a checklist.

Finally, I went into the theater and watched a movie. Meet The Robinsons. In 3D. It was pretty cute! I recommend it.

Then, I went home and mopped up the bathroom floor (mostly to get the pee smell out) and now I must stop by the office to drop off our lease renewal.

And I found out that my copy of Fruits Basket 23 is gonna be delayed. *fumes* But hopefully I'll get vol. 22 and the new fanbook pretty soon…

And now, to quoth the Emi-chan, I must away!

Well, I've survived my first full week of work. And I'm not as cranky this time around. I think it was due to the fact I was wearing more comfortable shoes.

I was able to visit with my dad this weekend. It was very nice. We went to the bookstore. I was actually able to contain myself and only get 4 books. Three were CSI novels and the fourth one was a mini-book in the Princess Diaries series. I didn't get any manga this time, though (I got Victorian Romance Emma the day before however). I still couldn't find issue 4 of the Legacy comics. I'm getting a bit perturbed.

Afterwards, we had lunch at the Chinese buffet I like. Dad was able to get some of his raw oysters that he likes. I was successful in the fact that I didn't lose what I had just eaten while he sucked them down. Blech!

When we got home, dad showed us his pictures Germany. It's a beautiful country. I hope to go someday.

In regards to Victorian Romance Emma, it a very well done lovely series so far. The cover isn't the shiny smooth paper that is generally used. It feels rough and antiquey. The art is very very nicely done and meticulous. I think I shall definitely be keeping up with it, despite the fact that CMX is the one doing it.

And I just downloaded and "read" the latest chapter of Kaze Hikaru. *squish* Very cute. A few adorable Sei/Okita moments. Plus, I'm coasting on the high of some Vash/Meryl squish in the most recent chapter of TriMax. *dies of glee*

Trivia of the day: Cut-outs of a moon and a star were used in colonial times on outhouse doors to designate the gender of the intended user. Originally, the moon cut-out was for women and the star was for the men. But men's outhouses were usually such a mess that men preferred using the women's outhouses. So, eventually the use of stars were phased out.<--I've kinda wondered about that

I swear, online bill paying has made life so much easier. I just took a few minutes, entered some info, pressed a few buttons and voila! Done and done. I love it. Besides, a lot of my stuff is due around the time we move, and with all of that going on, I don't want to have to worry about if I sent my bills off or not.

Speaking of which, it looks like we might be staying with my aunt after all. I don't mind, really. She has a very nice house. The cats are going to be staying with the nurse that my mom works with. She said she'd take them in for the roughly five days that we'll be "in limbo" as it were. Mom took care of all the necessary stuff that was needed in order to set things up at our new place. Officially, we move everything out on Saturday. So Friday will probably be my last day online for awhile. Hopefully I won't be missing too much in my absence, but I have a feeling I will be. I just hope the last chapter of Death Note comes out before I have to sign off.

Now, onto the important stuff: Happy Go Lucky )

I just hope I'm able to watch the season finale next week, or else I'll die a little inside.

BTW, [livejournal.com profile] pinnacles or [livejournal.com profile] umadoshi do either of you have the Tori song, "A Sorta Fairytale"? Part of it was being played at the end of "Everwood" Monday and I liked it. I didn't see it in the song lists from the ones you sent me.

Fandom-wise I heard the CMX has licensed "Victorian Romance Emma". I heard about it through "And Shine Heaven Now" (a Hellsing doujinshi) and it looked to be interesting. I don't know when the first volume is coming out, though.

I got a bit of a late start this morning. I was wicked tired most of the day yesterday, so I went to bed early. I didn't have my brain party, so it was good. However, mom still needed me to take her to work. I thought to myself, "I'm not really going anywhere today except to my aunt's, and she just lives a block away, so I can walk there." So I let my mom borrow my car today. Tomorrow I'm taking it back, though. I'm trying not to feel anxious about the fact that she has it, and I'm doing good so far.

I put up the testimonials yesterday, so if you want to have a look, just go into my userinfo and scroll down a bit. I have new headers, so it should be easy to spot. If you haven't added one and still want to, you can. Just leave a comment.

I was able to finish my Mikami bg last night. I had to think on how I wanted to finish it up, but then I decided on perhaps a distressed look, like a worn book. I think I was able to do a decent job. I had to put it on ImageShack because Photobucket shrank it.

I think it looks pretty good. I'm not going to change my layout as of yet, but when I do, it'll probably be this one. The default userpic I'll use will probably be Mr. Death.

I was distracted this morning by reading about a series called "Victorian Romance Emma" I believe. There's character cameos in 'And Shine Heave Now' so Erin linked to a site about it. It looks kinda cute.

I don't know how long I'll be at my aunts. If not too long, I'd still like to work on some icons I've been meaning to. I guess we'll see.
