OK, I'm posting mostly to recount my weird-ish dream from last night. Well, the details I remember of it anyway.

For some reason, Me, my dad and my step-mom were in Canada and I was trying to go and visit [livejournal.com profile] secondlina at her apartment. There was a girl there in the lobby and she said that no one was there. So we all wandered around and somehow ended up at a college and we were in a classroom while a lecture was going on. My dad, for some reason, got up and started speaking to the classroom. I have no idea what he was talking about, but it lasted for quite awhile. Then the class got out and the three of us went to call on [livejournal.com profile] secondlina again, only to be thwarted once again by the chick in the lobby.

Then there were other things like this giant tentacle monster just hanging around and these giant trees growing in the middle of the street.

Strange...

One more day until my birthday!!! Even though I'm not going to be doing anything for it, I still kinda get excited when it comes around, you know? Kinda like, "Yay! I've been hanging around for another year! Go me!"

I had this strange dream this morning. I was in a house with mom, and the lady we used to live with was there along with her granddaughter. I don't think we were living with her again because the house was different. Anyway, I was sitting in front of the TV and I was picking up chocolate covered pretzels from the floor and putting them back into the bag, only the bag was starting to get full, and there were still more pretzels left. I was watching 'Everwood' on the TV, only all the characters were a lot younger. Ephram was about eight and he had a beard. I don't think it was real though, but for a play of some sort.

I told you it was strange...

And I just found out that 'Kaze Hikaru' is being pulled from Shojo Beat after the September issue. How lame! That was one of the few series I like in there. I mean, I do read NANA and Absolute Boyfriend, but since I've read all of AB already and I can get scanlations of NANA, there will really be no reason for me to continue to keep getting it. I do like the newest series, Vampire Knight, but I can get scanlations of that too. I'll still buy the graphic novels when they come out, though. So after the September issue, no more Shojo Beat for me!

And where was FMA on Monday night?! It's getting toward the end and I'd been watching it, but they had something else on instead! I was pissed! I hope it's gonna be on again next Monday!

There's going to be a game night at church tonight, and from the looks of it, mom wants to go, so we'll be doing that tonight.

In the meantime, I'm doing laundry 'cause mom needs some clothes for work. I also need to put the clean dishes away from the dishwasher.

À bientot!

Trivia of the day: Reportedly, Louisa May Alcott didn't want to write her classic novel, Little Women. She despised young girls and wrote the bestseller for the money.

I can't believe it's Friday already. The weeks seem to be speeding along for some reason. I can't explain it.

Tonight is movie night, but instead of having it here, we're having a 'Star Trek' one over at a friend of ours house who has a new plasma screened TV. Whoo!!

For some reason, the memories function isn't working for the journals. I just checked and mine wasn't waorking a nd a bunch of different community ones are having the same problem. I wonder what's going on?

I made more icons. I'm pretty pleased with them, actually. I've been lurking in the [livejournal.com profile] icon_tutorial community and came a cross quite a few helpful ideas.

I used manga images because I wanted to see what I could do with black and white pics. This one is of Hatori and Akito from vol. 17 that I scanned. I kinda like the way it urned out. It has a very dreamy quality. The text is 'agape' which is Greek for love, but not in the romantic sense. More of a brotherly type of affection which is what I and several others have attributed to Hatori and Akito.

And of course I had to have one of Kureno. It's from the same volume. The text is lyrics from the song 'Live to Tell' from Madonna. The text itself was actually a lot more elaborate, but I decided to simplify it and I'm really glad I did.

I dreamt about my sister the other night. It was the first time I have. It was very pleasant. In the dream we weren't doing anything special, just hanging out and chatting. Watching TV. Stuff like that. But it was still nice since we can't do that anymore.
