Today was pretty busy, but I was able to stay in good spirits despite of it. I had messages all day and I think I further injured my Achilles Tendon... I don't know if I tore it or what, but it kinda hurts.
We had an emergency meeting at our church tonight. Things aren't looking good. We're discussing merging with another church and we had to let our staff go, which was really hard to do even though I understand why it had to be done.
And I still haven't had any luck whatsoever in trying to find the book I was looking for (re: yesterday's post which I don't feel like looking for ATM). It's driving me crazy!!! It would help if I knew the title and the author... *facepalm*
And I'm having a bit of trouble trying to burn the Hatori/Mayuko FST that
f_ireworks made. The songs wouldn't all fit on one CD and I had the option of splitting it, which I really don't want to do. I made a separate play list for it on my iTunes, so I can still listen to it, but I just can't burn it onto a CD. I don't want to split it because then I couldn't use the lovely cover art she also made for it... so I'm in a bit of a pickle.
Well, I'm off to shower. I may not get to my FL tonight, but if not, I'll have time tomorrow since mom's going to dinner tomorrow night with her co-workers.

Trivia of the day: In the winter of 1724, while on an outing at sea, Peter the Great of Russia caught sight of a foundering ship, jumped in the water, and helped in the rescue. He caught cold, suffered from high fever, and died several weeks later.
