snapdragon76Yesterday was Father's Day!! I called my dad and was able to talk to him for a while. It was nice. I didn't get to talk very long though, because it was lighting and mom didn't want me on the phone for that long. Grandma then called later and mom cut the conversation short for the same reason. Mom said that it seemed Grandma was a bit dissapointed but I told her, "Well, it was either have a long conversation and get fried, or hang up and stay crispy-free." No contest.
We rented "Miracle" Friday to watch. I thought it would be a total snooze fest, but it was pretty good. Of course, I was only 4 (well, maybe 3 1/2) when the Winter Olympics were held in Lake Placid, New York in 1980, so I had to have mom help me with any questions I might have had. we're going to go see "Spider-Man 2" on the 3rd, so I told her we'd have to see the first one "to refresh our memories" How's that for an excuse, eh? ~_^
