snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (L -- serious)
I skipped the gym tonight. My shoulder is bothering me. We're going tomorrow, though so that kinda makes up for it.

My car is making a squealing sound when I drive it. I hope it's nothing serious because it's my only transportation and I can't afford to get a new one, sooo...

There's a possibility that mom might get a new job in another department. This would work out well for her since it's basically the same kind of job she's doing now, only with a better work environment. The pay isn't any less than what she's making now, which is a very good thing. So I keep my fingers crosses and so forth that it'll work out for her.

My book-fu was active again. Since I'm wanting to get serious about the whole copy-editing area, I got some books relating to it. I also got some fandom related stuff too, of course. I'll be updating my GoodReads profile to reflect this.

Work today was slow. Mostly because I had next to nothing to do today. Some fee tickets did come in, but it didn't take me very long to do those, so most of the time I read a magazine and played a little pinball on my computer. I guess it sort of makes up for the hectic week I had last week, but still...

Tomorrow mom and I have a Purse Party to attend. Mom isn't into purses as much as I am, but I said she should come so she can meet some of the ladies I work with. I'll try not to go too out of control on the purse front, however.

Now, I need to go and set up the final stuff for my RP characters on the Kriff This! SW forum. Laters!

Today in History: 1954 - In Stockholm, Sweden, Russia defeated Canada 7-2, winning the world ice-hockey title. This was the first time Russia participated in the ice-hockey competition and started a winning streak that lasted until Team USA defeated them in the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, New York.

Me too! Especially since I have to go to work the next town over! Plus, we have a dubious public transit system.

I see my doctor on the 20th, so I'll talk to him about it then.

Thanks! I need to look into it some more so I can figure out a way to get my foot in the door.

Yeah, it wasn't like I expected. You come in, look through the merchandise (there was some jewelry too) pay for it and leave. I thought there'd be more of a mingling thing...

And I was very good. I bought a silver Tiffany necklace, a pair of Chanel sunglasses, a Dooney & Burke purse for my mom, a Coach bag for me as well as a small wrist bag. For someone who likes urses as much as I do, that was very restrained. And the prices were reasonable too.

maybe you shouldn't do sport, before your visit.

Umh,well maybe it was good, but this doesn't sound like a party, don't you think?

Your account will not cry?
But a girl will be girl, and purses are more tempting than an apple...

I'll probably go afterwards. I dunno...

No, not really. but then it was my first time, so I didn't know what it entailed.

No, not too bad. I got paid Friday, so...

Take a nice, long soak and nurture that shoulder of yours, okay?

I hope that all goes well for your mom! *go mom!*
