snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Amon 'Bitch Please' (rocknlobster))
*fnarl* Well, apparently there was a meeting yesterday in the Med Recs department (that I missed since it was my day off). It seems as if the Med Rec department in the building where I work is going to be obsolete by the end of the year. It seems the doctors want to use that room for something, and since we're going paperless… Also, the impression was given that the supervisor was getting after the scanners for not working fast enough. Again. I mean, I realize there's a bit of a time crunch, but give us a break. A lot of the ladies who work at scanning are part-timers and it was mentioned there may be mandatory overtime coming and they're not very happy about it. I mean, sure the extra money would be nice, but it'd be damn exhausting and highly stressful. My thing is, if they want me to start working overtime, they'd better start giving me benefits. However, I don't know exactly when or if it's being initiated. *sighs*

On top of that, I found out that my friend tries to kill himself again. He's extremely frustrated with the severity of his health problems. This time, instead of 90-ish pills, he took about 200. I hope he's able to get help this time. Last time they had to let him go because there wasn't room for him. So needless to say, March is starting off with a bang! /sarcasm

I went on a book binge yesterday. I bout a couple of Meg Cabot books, including the newest Princess Diaries. I know it's not in my "age group" but I still enjoy reading them. I mean, Princess Mia is a girl after my own heart practically. I also got two Star Wars books, Exile and Allegiance. So my book addiction is still fully active apparently.

*makes a mean face at your place of employment*

Ooh... not good with your friend. I can kind of relate since my friend has bouts of "I want to die!" more often than not. Just be there for him is all I can say. You'd be surprised how much just a sholder to cry on or someone friendly (that you know well) might help. Thoughts and all that to him... and you.

I completely forgot that its march. -_-'

I don't think he's allowed to have visitors right now. But I shall definitely be lending my shoulder to his mom, who is a dear friend of ours.

Yep. February's pretty short.
