snapdragon76You wonder why? Well, I changed my layout!! I know I said I was going to do it after the first of the year, but I said to myself, "Screw it. I wanna do it now." And the subject of my new layout? Why, none other than Takumi Ichinose from the manga series NANA! Why you may ask? *stares at image* Because he's just the sex, darling. I did it myself, too. I found some images (which are credited in my userinfo page), and fiddled in PhotoShop and voila!! Now, it actually took me a lot longer than I expected it to. First, I saved it on Photobucket, but it resized it, then I tried loading it onto ImageShack, but they said it was too big. I wracked my brain trying to think of a way to shrink the file size, not the image size, so I eventually figured it out and saved it in a .jpg format instead of a .png. And it worked!! So now, we have a nice picture of Takumi to drool at. Later, I'm going to make a default icon to go with it. Probaly the image I used for the smaller picture. What? You can't see it, you say? No problemo. Here, you can see the whole thing (just click on image):
Pretty neat, huh? *preens* After flogging my guts out for several hours yesterday, it's staying up for quite some time, lemme tell ya! Who knows, I may decide to set it as my wallpaper sometime.
OK, here's a neat little thing I got via e-mail that I think can work on here as well. Why not take a stab at it.
1. WHAT TIME DID YOU GET UP THIS MORNING? 8:00. I usually get up at this time, except for weekends.
2. DIAMONDS OR PEARLS? Hmm, pearls I think. More versatility.

Let's start chronologically, shall we? 7th Heaven, Medium, CSI Miami, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, Lost, Veronica Mars, CSI NY, Smallville, CSI, Everwood, Numb3rs, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Grey's Anatomy. These are the ones I always make it a point to watch.

6. WHAT IS YOUR MIDDLE NAME? Ruth.
7. FAVORITE CUISINE? Hmm, I don't really have a particular favorite.
8. WHAT FOODS DO YOU DISLIKE? Eh-heh. Quite a few. Peas, broccoli, lima beans, liver and onions, ect...
9. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHIP FLAVOR? I like regular Ruffles, but for flavored, KC Masterpiece BBQ.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CD AT THE MOMENT? Mostly I've been listening to a lot of the mixed ones I've made.
11. WHAT KIND OF CAR DO YOU DRIVE? Silver Saturn.
12. FAVORITE SANDWICH? Good ol' PB & J.

18. FAVORITE BRAND OF CLOTHING? Gap and American Eagle. I love the classicness and comfort.
19. TO WHERE WOULD YOU RETIRE? Maybe somewhere in the mountains.
20. WHAT WAS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE BIRTHDAY? My 22nd. A bunch of friends came over and we had a mini-Star Trek marathon. That was fun!
21. FAVORITE SPORT TO WATCH? I like to watch NASCAR and tennis.

OK, You asked for it then. Takumi is the bass player for the band Trapnest (you know, the current band that Nana O's former flame Ren now belongs to). Well, Hachi (Nana K.) has a fling (or two, I'm not quite sure) with him (like can you blame her) and ends up pregnant. Now, at first she thinks it's from Nobu, one of the members of the reformed Black Stones, Nana O's band (Hachi and Soji had broken up, but still remain friends), but it's discovered that it's really Takumi's. Now, Takumi can be a bit of a jerk at times, but when he's with Hachi, he's very sweet and tender. After he finds out about the baby, he does the noble thing and says he'll marry Hachi. Nobu is a little crushed since he still has feelings for Hachi, but he knows it's the best thing since Takumi can support Hachi and the baby when he really can't.
