My mom made me brownies last night!! She was making a cake for a co-worker's birthday, so I asked if she'd make some brownies while she was at it, and she did!! Whoo!!

I changed my userinfo profile a little. I added the header banners I made and changed some of the info a bit. I'm happy with it.

I was watching 'Everwood' last night and I realized I was still very dissapointed that Ephram broke things off with Amy. The dunce!! They were really good together!! But, I do think that Hannah and Bright would make a super cute couple! *giggles* What can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic. Maybe that's why I'm really starting to read more shojo titles than I did before. And no, it's not just because of all the bishies (although that does help somewhat).

Speaking of which, I received notice that my volumes of HG that I'm missing are being sent to me! They're coming from Oregon, so I don't know how long it's gonna take. I just hope I can hold out for however long. Now I kind of wonder when volume 9 is gonna be released (in English obviously). I tried looking, but I didn't find out anything.

I made some more bookmarks yesterday. One was a HG one with Ryoki and Hatsumi hugging with the words, "Sometimes we don't do what we want to do because we're afraid that other people will know that we want to do them" from the movie 'The Village.' I think that describes their relationship pretty well. The other one I made was a Saiyuki one with the guys and a quote about friendship on it. I'd have to look it up again. I was really pleased with how they turned out.

Oh, and I'm all ready to mail out kawaiiayu's thing, but I just need stamps.

Hot Gimmick vol. 9 is set to be released on July 12. I got that date off of listerx.com which also has the release dates of every volume in the US as well as Japan. It even has the release date for Vol. 10 in Japan, but NOT in the US.

I was so bored, and feeling rather creative that I decided to put my statistics class to use and calculate the release date for Vol. 10 in the US. The report I put together is bellow:

I am considering constructing a similar model to project the release date based solely on the time between releases in the US, but I don't think it would be as accurate as I'm fairly sure that what happens in Japan has a direct effect on what happens here.

I did. Most of the sites I have seen before, I hadn't seen Poor Girl though. I really liked the magazine covers they had in there of Ryoki and Hatsumi. But, I actually really like your banner that you made and posted a while back. That was really well done. You should get an account at deviantART to post some of these things. I've put up a few of my wallpapers there. I made an Akito one and a wallpaper for Duo from Gundam Wing. The rest is just random graphics done for my music like album covers, posters, website designs, etc.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the banner. All I did was take a pic I scanned, resized it and added text and some sparkle brushes. I was quite happy with how it turned out. You can borrow it if you want to...

Did you see the wallpapers? Some of them were pretty good. I made some wallpapers myself at one time. I don't know if I'm going to set up a DA account or not. I'll have to think about it.

Oh yeah, I missed those. I kinda got lost on that page cause the text shows up all funny and I never found the wallpapers, but I went back and looked again. The wallpapers are alright, I've downloaded a few. I particularly like the second one under 800x600, the one with Ryoki, Azusa, Shinogu and Hatsumi in the four cells.

I think... I think I'm going to scan in one of the covers and see if I can't come up with something good, though. It seems hardly anyone has really spent any time on this, maybe the fandom isn't as big as I thought. hmm... I'll keep you updated.
