There's some tension in the household as of late. Not between me and my mom, but between me and the lady we're living with... and I have no idea as to why. I noticed it a few days ago. There's a... distance there. She's very open and friendly to my mom, but with me... If I try to start a conversation, I usually only get a one word reply. It's hurtful. I mean, she's one who's been known to hold a grudge and now apparently, she has one against me. I wish she'd tell me what it was I've done... or haven't done. I'm not about to ask her. At the moment, there's nothing much I can do but wait until the end of February when we move out. Until then, I'm going to diminish my presence as much as possible and keep to myself. I'm very good at doing that. I like to avoid confrontation like it was the plague. Hell, I don't even watch TV in the living room any more! I try not to let it get to me, but here are the few moments when it does and I just try to let it pass as much as I can. I feel sometimes I have to watch what I say or do around people because I'm so pertified of offending someone, even inadvertently. I value all of my friendships and I'd hate to do anything to jepordize them.
Anyway, I have quite a bit to do today. I'm washing my sheets and I have to clean the bathroom. I also have to deposit my check today so I can cover my wireless bill. Mom said there was a job fair at her work later on this evening, but I have to go to my grandmothers in order to change into more 'professional' attire in order to go to it.
Only 333 days until the Year 2007.

Trivia of the day: In 1990, the children's classic "My Friend Flicka" was pulled from the optional reading lists for 5th- and 6th-graders in Clay County, Florida, because the book reportedly used objectionable language.
