Hi all. No, I'm not dead, just not had a lot to post lately, so I didn't. I've been updating my Twitter lately, but for some reason my LiveTwitter feed has been made of fail and not posting lately. I dunno why. In any case, I added my Twitter profile to my links list on the side of my journal so when we move, y'all can still be updated on my goings on since I won't be able to be on as much due to packing, moving and unpacking. Then whenever my cable gets reconnected in the new place. Luckily I can text my tweets, so those of you who actually give a rat's ass and want to know what's going on re: move can still be in the know whether I have an internet connection or not. It's on private right now, but I'll de-privatize it once we get closer to D-Day as it were...

Now, wasn't THAT more than you wanted to know?

Cleaned out more of my closet over the weekend. It's fairly neat now, and has a smidge more room. Mom and I toured the model at the complex since it's the same layout (basically) as the one we're moving to, so we took some measurements and did some mental furniture arranging. While we'd be better off with a 3/2, since the complex doesn't have any, we're figuring out what needs to go where. While we gain floorspace, we lose wallspace, so it's kind of a trade off. As for me, due to my larger closet, I'm putting one of my bookcases in my closet to give me more space in my actual bedroom. Most of the square footage we get is due to the additional bathroom and closet spaces. Mom might have to get rid of her current computer desk and use the library table we have in the living room. It would be a good substitution since the one she has is kinda crumbling at the bottom, probably partially due to the flooding we got a few years back from one of the numerous hurricanes we've had here.

Work is work. Not much can really be said about it. As long as I have a steady stream of stuff to do, I don't get bored or overwhelmed, so it's a nice balance most of the time. Still not the most stimulating job in the world, but it's a job with benefits, so I can't complain too much.

Annnnd, I am now officially a TVTroper. I'm Skum_Bananer over there. I haven't made any tremendous contributions as of yet, but I may in the future...
