My new motto, everyone. It's basically saying that even if we outwardly conform to the rest of society, inwardly, we're giving 'em the finger. In fact, I may even make me an icon of it, I dunno yet.
Speaking of which, I actually made a header for my icon journal
starshine76. I've yet to be able to get the icon table to work properly, so I have to fiddle with that more but I will say this -- I HATE HTML CODE WITH A PASSION AS WHITE-HOT AND INTENSE AS A THOUSAND BURNING SUNS!!!!!! There. I feel better now. Sorry for the shouting, everyone.
And, on a much happier note, I was able to find those files I thought I'd lost!!!! Yippee!! Turns out, as I was searching through My Computer for some brushes I had downloaded, I clicked on HP Authorized User's Documents and voila! There they were. So all my scans and whatnot are all in there still. So,
poeticdeathofme, if you still want that picture I took of you over Thanksgiving, I can send it to you.
*does handsprings* Of course, this also means I found my songs I had saved as well. *giggles*
I had to get up early this morning so I could take my mom to work. Her car doesn't want to start for her due to 1. it doesn't like it when the temperature gets below 60 or something and 2. she needs a new battery. The battery she intends to buy Thursday after she gets paid, so that'll be nice. Getting up early really sucks. I may take a nap later on this afternoon.
peanutcat told me she got her card I sent her. I was glad. She also sent me a card with some 'Saiyuki' goodies in it, so I'm looking forward to that, lemme tell ya.
I got a bunch of 'Star Trek' books yesterday. The son of the lady we live with said he'd give them to me and I can pick which ones I wanted and he'd take back the rest. He said he'd sell them on eBay or something and I told him just to give them to the library. Anyway, I picked out about three novels and the majority of the refrence books, like the Encyclopedia. It's a bit out of date, but still pretty useful. Nothing on NF in there, though since it was printed before the series started. Oh well. We can't have 'em all, can we?
