snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Aka no Ou -- blood splatter)
Well, the Red Tide has made it's presence known. Yerg. People probably thought I was doing drugs or something since I had to get up and go to the bathroom frequently and take my purse along with me. It's not as if I could say, "Hey, I'm on my period and I have to go and change my pad every few hours or so!" A few times I'd contemplated cashing in my chips and going home due to cramps and general nausea, but I hung in there and stuck it out. Of course, I still feel like crap…

Speaking of crap (nice segue there), Our older cat got sick yesterday and had the runs all over the carpet in mom's room. Terrif. So mom and I spent a good portion of the evening cleaning that up and cleaning up our cat, who had also managed to get some on her as well. So we gave her some medicine and shut her up in our bathroom for the rest of the night and the following day. She seems to be doing better now.

And if TPTB kill off Meredith, I'm staging a revolt.

Well, today was an interesting day. I played Musical Scanning Stations™ today at work. The one I usually sit at isn't attached to a scanner; so I have to have the lady who sits next to me scan the documents I need to do, and import them over to my machine in order to index them. Now, today I had a significant number of color document to do, which means I have to do more than simply importing them to my computer and I didn't want to tie up the other lady for too long, so I waited until one of the other stations was free.

I was about to start, when an error message kept popping up, and IT had to fix it, so I went over to another machine and was in the midst of scanning my documents in when the one I was on before was fixed. So I was all over the place today. Tomorrow I know I'll be pretty much in one place.

Mom is frustrated because our cats decided to play with her computer mouse and broke it. Twerps. So she's upset because she can't get on her computer. I said I'd get her a new one, but can only do it on Wednesday my day off. I'd give her my old one, since I use a cordless one now, but I have no idea where it is.

My iPod is very nice to have during work, but it takes up a lot of juice. It also takes quite a while to recharge.

I'm still having difficulty with my Internet on Hakuryuu, but I'm gonna e-mail the guy at the Mac store and see if he can help me again. I hope he can…

Our Body Shop party went well. Not as many people as we would've liked, but it was still very nice. I bought almost $200.00 worth of stuff. Good thing I get paid Friday…
