The Tide has returned. Grrr... But such is life... unfortunately.
And our cable has been wonky last night and today. I hope it's due to someone digging or something. I mean, I pay my bills. On the other hand, if it's due to someone else's meddling, I want them to KNOCK IT OFF!!!!!
No, I am not addicted to television (much). It's the Internet. My connection to the outside world. And if I ever have to go back to dial-up, I'd rather fling myself off of the building.
Anyway, onto my weekend. Yes, I know you're all so thrilled.
Friday:
Movie night. Rear Window. Now these are movies. Not a drop of blood or gore anywhere, yet just as thrilling. I like the psychological thrillers over your blood and gore slasher flicks.
Saturday:
We had a brunch for the Ladies Ministry in the morning. It was pretty nice. Afterwards we went to the health food store so we could pick up some nummy wheat free cookies and mom could get some of her Spelt bread. Then we went home for the rest of the day.
Sunday:
Church, but we didn't make it to Sunday School since mom slept in and I couldn't go without her since she'd have no other ride, so neither one of us went to Sunday School. Since the Red Tide made it's presence known, I didn't do anything after I got home but lie down and whine.
I've been temporarily banned from going to the bookstore for at least a month. It seems I tend to spend more money than I have in there. *hangs head* So I need to stay away for a bit. I can look for some good condition used ones on Amazon.com, but I will miss out on buying the final (for me) issue of 'Shojo Beat' as well as the next 'Star Wars Legacy' comic. *ker sigh*
I'll try my best to not go into withdrawals.
Logan!Xterra sightings: 4 (I even parked across from one at Wal-Mart!)

Trivia of the day: On September 2, 1909, American Annie Smith Peck, at age 57, was the first person to climb the 21,000-foot Mount Huascaran, the highest peak in Peru.
