This is gonna be a bit of a long post since I have a lot of ground to cover, so I'll try to break it up into chunks.
First of all, I'm gonna do the Year In Review meme I always do, so therefore:
January: Yep, time for this one again.
February: Wow. Here we are at the end of an era. What a ride it has been. (My review of the final volume of Full Metal Alchemist).
March: My mom came up with the suggestion that I start a blog about anime, manga and graphic novels in a way that people who don't know what any of that is, can learn about it and understand what it is. And I must say, the idea is very intriguing and possibly has some merit.
April: Yes, I know it's been awhile since I last posted anything of relevance. I did see Mirror Mirror last weekend, but I haven't gotten around to posting a write-up as of yet. I did like it, though.
May: Since today is Star Wars Day, I thought I'd post this little gem for everyone. I find this utterly hilarious. Enjoy! (followed by a YouTube post of a girl who trying to explain Star Wars when she's barely seen it. It's hilarious).
June: Things at work are going from bad to worse. My friend Jenn just told me that starting tomorrow she's going on medical leave for an indefinite amount of time. Things in there have gotten that bad.
(things have gotten a lot better now)
July: I love you guys. I really do. :DD (accompanied by a video of the MST3K Canada Song. :D)
August: Hey, It's August, which is generally considered the hottest month of the year. Yippee.
September: Well, I'm still having some health issues. this has been a really crappy summer thus far healthwise.
October: Well, mom and i are officially on vacation. We set off yesterday around 1:00 and made it to Waycross, GA at about 5:00.
November: I've been going through some of my older journal entries (from 2005 no less) in order to try and narrow down the dates of when I was employed at the guitar shop and it's rather interesting rereading the old entries and my old 'voice' as it were.
December: Looks like I'll be staying home from work tomorrow.
As for Resolutions, I tend not to make any since they usually get broken and it's stuff that you usually shouldn't have to resolve to do. I do have a few goals I'd like to accomplish though, such as eat a little better, be more active, eat more fruits and veggies ect. Hopefully I can discipline myself a little better.
I had a good Christmas. I got a few new cell phone cases. One is an OtterBox Defender from mom. I'll use it for when we go places where we spend a lot of time outdoor. And I got a Rabito case from dad. It has cute lil rabbit ears on it. I've gotten a lot of comments on it. I also got a Blu ray copy of The Dark Knight Rises from mom and the entire Indiana Jones series from dad and a Watchmen photo book. So it was a good day.
And finally, mom and I have made the decision to go ahead and work toward our move to Tennessee in a few months. Probably sometime in late May to early June. There is a lot of stuff we have to do beforehand first, but I think we can get it together and do it. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.
