1. Comment with "DON'T SAY GOOD-BYE"
2. I will give a letter
3. Post the names of five fictional characters whose names start with that letter and give your thoughts on each.
She gave me the letter H, so here are my characters:
Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series

What's not to like about Hermione? She's smart, spunky, courageous. True, she can come off as a bit self-righteous and a know it all, but those traits are lessened a bit as time goes on and her true spark and growth as a character and as a witch begin to shine. I know if I were facing a powerful Dark Wizard, I'd want her on my side. She's the very definition of a Badass Bookworm.
Harry Potter from the Harry Potter series

Ahhh, Harry. I love how we get to watch him grow from a bright-eyed young boy naive to the ways of his parentage and his heritage into a bright self-assured (most of the time) young man and powerful wizard. I think a lot of people see a bit of themselves in Harry. Coming of age, trying to figure out our place in the world. Exploring life and love and friendship, as well as the hardships that often come with growing up. True, not many of us have an evil wizard gunning for us, but we can still relate to him in many ways I think.
Hatsuharu Sohma from Fruits Basket

The other half of one of my favorite couples. What can there be said of Haru? He's the voice of reason in a world that can get a little crazy. He's probably one of the most laid back and level headed characters in the entire series... when he's in white mode that is. His black side is violent and hurtful, but that side doesn't come out too often. Besides, we all have a black side to us, but we tend to not let it out. Haru has a tendency to say what we all want to say and that sometimes needs to be said. His love and tenderness toward Rin is so very beautiful, especially since it's directed at someone who has never been shown much genuine love in her life. He gives her hope, and that is something we all need. Plus, he has an awesome sense of style! :DD

And I'm posting this because it's cute.
Han Solo from Star Wars

Yup, he's pretty obvious. I mean, c'mon! It's HAN SOLO for Pete's sake! Crazy Awesome, Badass, Tall Dark and Snarky and married to a princess! That's a lot of awesomeness wrapped into one hunky package! Plus, he fathered three of my fave characters, so there's that also. Sure, he's been drug through the wringer quite a few times, but he made it through none the worse for wear. He lost two of his three children, his best friend and almost his sanity, but through the end, he's still the same ol' Han.

*sigh* Oh, Jacen. You poor misguided hottie you...
Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club

I just love Haruhi. She's smart, practical and not given to fits of grandeur like her fellow Host Club members. This might have something to do with the fact she grew up in a modest single parent household where she had to take care of her loving, if a little unusual, father after her mother's death. She does come across as a little unenthusiastic about things at first, a sign of her practicality showing through, but as she spends more and more time with the Host Club, they start to expose her to new and fascinating things, causing her to come out of her shell a little and become more adventurous. Plus, she's just utterly adorable!
