snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Chairman Meow)
I am such a bad mommy. I accidentally locked my kitty in my bedroom yesterday all day while I was at work. I know, I know! I feel so bad. I was in a bit of a rush and I didn’t see her in my room, so I thought she was already out in the living room. When I got home, I didn’t see her greet me at the door like she usually does. So I was curious. Then, as I got further down the hall, I heard a tiny pathetic mewling from my bedroom. Then, horror struck me. She was in my room! All day!! HORROR!!

I opened the door, and there she was. I made sure to scoop her up and give her some loving and apologize profusely for shutting her up all day. She didn’t seem to be mad, because she wouldn’t leave me alone, like she missed me. So hopefully she won’t have too much psychological damage from my error. Poor baby…

Saturday mom and I are going to see into looking into volunteering at the local wild animal hospital to try and get out of our hermity tendencies. Looks kinda cool!

*pet pet* It's OK! I think every cat mommy has done it at some point or another - I know I have. My latest sin was leaving the water dish empty by accident for a day because if you don't view the reservoir at the right angle, it looks like there's more water in it than there is. So, as the kitties drank heavily, I went on a nice guilt trip.

Whoops. At least the cat seemed understanding.

She probably acted appropriately catlike and slept quite happily all day - but once she heard you come home, she decided that she would make you feel guilty. ^_~

My oldest cat is so weird in that way. She always needs to have her water bowl refilled with fresh water everyday... even if there is nothing wrong with the water that is already in there. I have no idea why she does this, but she has always been like that.

And she does seem to have forgiven me. She's just as affectionate as before... even more so since we got back from vacation (which is mostly because she missed us).

Yes, and she didn't get any revenge on me, if you know what I mean...

Probably. She has this obsession with my room though. She always has to have access as soon as I come in the door. She gets upset if she isn't able to come in when she wants to.
