Hmmm, how shall I sum up my weekend? Let's try a list!!
Friday:
1. work
2. do errands
3. burrow under my blankets to stay warm
Saturday:
1. watch DVD's
2. sleep
3. burrow under my blankets to stay warm
Sunday:
1. church
2. get groceries
3. burrow under my blankets to stay warm
Notice a pattern?
Now, I know what some of you are thinking. CRY MOAR! But it dipped to freezing temperatures over the weekend here, and for us, that's quite nippy. I didn't even venture a toe outside all day Saturday. I didn't even bother to change out of my flannel pj's for that matter.
And mock all you want, haters but my Snuggie kept me nice and toasty over the weekend, so there! :-P
I think mom and I must be jinxed somehow when it comes to cars. We went to start hers on Sunday so we could go to church, but the steering column is locked and wiil. not. budge. And we tried EVERYTHING. Like pressing the brake, making sure the car was in park, jiggling the steering wheel. Even changing the fuses. Nada. We hope it's just a matter of it being literally frozen due to the weather and nothing more serious. Because it costs $92.00 to replace the starter and that's just for the parts. It doesn't include the labor.
Luckily we have my car to get around in until this sticky-wicket is resolved... which I hope will be sooooon!!!
Work is slow these past few weeks. I hope things pick up again soon. It's a bit frustrating, and kind of boring when you have a lower than normal workload.
Hey, be sure to check out my mom's website: lwbphoto! *pimp*
Well, signing off for now! Ta-taaaa!!
