TEH LOFT!!! *squee* Look at the skylight! Look at the windows! The CEILING FANS!!! I can have a spot to put my bed AND a little office space for my computer!!

Pretty nice, eh? And I was just looking at the listing and it's been lowered from $700 and month to $675!! It's like providence! Now we just have to hope that the owners will allow cats. *crosses various appendages*

About cats... Usually they don't, unless the owners are pretty chill/don't care about their properties much. It's best not to ask about things like that, unless you want the blunt truth. I know tons of people who sneak their cats into their apartments, and even dorms. They let a friend take care of them during inspection days. ;D

yeah me and my mom used to do that when i lived with her in various apartments. mostly because they did allow cats, but you had to pay a deposit plus extra per month and my mom was cheap heh.

Well, they will allow two pets up to ten pounds. One of my cats weigh slightly more than that, but not by much, so that's a little detail that can be skipped.

psh most places do not care to worry about the details. the only time they care is if youre like bringing in like, a st bernard lol. you could bring in a small dog that was like 20 and they probably wouldnt blink an eye.

i hate that some places are breed specific. when i was looking at apartments once, they would ban certain dog breeds. I hate that because it is NOT the breed that makes a dog bad, IT IS THE OWNER AND HOW THE DOG WAS RAISED. so stupid. Cookie looks like a pretty general mix tho so i could say shes a mix of anything theyd allow lol.

Yeah, that's why I said it's probably something that can be skipped. I'll just have to tell my mom not to fuss about it. I mean, it's not like they're going to have a scale and WEIGH her or anything. Besides, she's not THAT much over ten pounds...

exactly, they probably just see a cat and are like ok im sure thats ten or under, whatev. they might have more concern over a small dog, but cats dont vary that much

I like the loft. Kind of makes you feel like you can lord it over the place, haha. The skylights are great too. I'd drag my best, most comfortable piece of furniture under it and read there all day.
