snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (L -- feet)
I was able to get my car into the mechanic's on Monday. I just hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to get my brakes fixed. *cringe* So at the moment I'm only driving it back and forth to work.

I had absolutely nothing to do at work today. So I tried to look busy as best I could and played some Solitaire on the sly. I think tomorrow may have some stuff, but who's to say.

I saw a segment on The Today Show this morning that some companies are trying to relieve the gas crunch that a lot of their employees are feeling but having only hour four day work weeks and others are even resorting to telecommuting. I am all in favor of telecommuting myself. I mean, if I can stay home and work i think I could be more productive. I mean, even if I have to still start work at 8:30 I could do it in my pajama's and not have to wake up nearly as early either. You could even work a little later if you needed to, because you wouldn't have to worry about the drive home. I know that there are already jobs out there that you can have and work at home, but they're mostly for stay at home moms or retirees or college students who already have a health plan (or on someone else's plan), so they offer no benefits or anything...

Mom's gonna be at the church tonight to go through some pictures for a project she's putting together for some friends of ours who will be leaving soon. I dunno how long she's gonna be there, so I'm pretty much on my own, which is fine. I just have to figure out what I'm gonna eat since I'm dead-ass broke. Nnnguh...

Today in History: 1959
Bob Zimmerman graduated from high school in Hibbing, MN. Zimmerman was known as a greaser to classmates, because of his long sideburns and leather jacket. He would later change his name to Bob Dylan -- after poet Dylan Thomas.
