snapdragon76I decided to forgo the gym today. Hey. I'm allowed once in awhile...
I've been thinking about looking into maybe a career in book editing. Specifically copy editing. Mom and I were having a conversation a couple of weeks ago and she asked me what degree I would've pursued had I not gone for Psychology. I said most likely a non-teaching English Literature degree.
Then, a couple of days ago, she said that after I had told her that, that she thought I'd do well in book editing. I thought it was interesting we were both kind of thinking the same thing. Sometime mom said she wanted to get a copy of What Color Is Your Parachute? However, finding someone in said career is a bit tricky.
Urgh. I hope my coming in on Saturday is gonna be worth my while. I mean, I finished the checks I normally do and since I have YET to receive any fee tickets to post, I started on some others. Maybe if I wish really hard, the day will go buy really fast. although, there will be a surreal element to it since I'll only have one day of a weekend... Thankfully I only have to do this one time (thus far).
We had a power outage yesterday, practically statewide. We (household-wise and work-wise) were not affected. Yes, I know you are all interested in hearing about the mundane details of my life...
