Guess what I'll be doing this weekend?







That's right! It finally came! I'm really excited. I saw some video of people playing it on wii. com and it looks super fun!


Guess what else came! My new laptop bag!! It's just the right size! It even has a cell phone pocket and a cup holder inside!
















The majority of my weekend was spent watching a mini-marathon of The Office. Such fun. I also was loaned a couple of Tori DVD's to watch as well. I need to find a time to watch them sometime too, although I might buy me a set of my own!

Of course, a good chunk of my weekend was spend basking in the glow of being right! I was posting on my fandom journal ryudoshi about the three volumes of Naruto I bought and read. I was looking up images on Wikipedia to explain about my theory about Naruto being the son of the Fourth Hokage. Well, imagine my surprise when it was indeed confirmed to be true. Of course, the fact that they looked so similar was a big honkin' clue right there. We also "meet" his mommy, whom he gets his surname and his personality from.

Seeing as this was apparently unveiled in September sometime thereabouts and considering I've been a bit removed from the fandom while the anime is airing the fillers here in the US, this isn't new. But to me, it is! so yay!















And I naturally got new icons...

I watched my cousin play that game on Christmas - it's awesome :D

And yay for your new bag! One of these days I'm gonna get me one of those Japanese high school bag dealies :D I already have a gym sweater from one, though I haven't worn it.

You know, from the very first time that I saw a picture of the fourth (which was in like....the very first few chapters I read almost 6 years ago) I was like 'That must be Naruto's dad.' I mean, they look SOOOOOOO much alike. And I mean, come on, why was the fourth goung to just pick some random kid to contain the spirit of the nine tails? In all of my anime/manga experiences I feel that it should have been a given. My sister and I have been saying that for so long. It's good to know that we weren't the only ones who thought so. That's why you rock so hard snap-chan ^__~v.

Your bag is awesome btw.

I know, it was a given pretty much from the start, but it still feels pretty neat to have your suspicions JUSTIFIED in CANON!!! FTW!!!

Plus, we also see his mommy, so...

I have always wondered something though. If both of his parents died shortly after his birth, who took care of him? Was that ever explained and I just missed it?

I wonder if Naruto's ever gonna find out? I mean, he does admire his dad (not knowing he even IS his dad). Plus, it's nice to actually know the Fourth's NAME!
