Diamonds in the Dark

Today was nice. I finished posting all my checks and it all added up down to the last penny. That's a good feeling, right there. So I was able to go home a little early. I know I got somewhat reprimanded for leaving early, but the rest of the week I stayed my full hours and intend to do so for the rest of the time, but since I finished my work and everyone else was practically gone already and there were no extra checks to do, I went ahead and left.

Of course, in the rush to leave, I left my lunch bag behind. *facepalm*

Mom finally got her glasses. I swung by to see them and they look good on her. She said she'd have to get used to them since the frames are a bit smaller than what she's used to.

I dunno what I plan on doing for the Labor Day holiday. I know mom wants to go over to the storage unit tomorrow sometime to find some CD's she thinks she's missing. I need to put some boxes I have in my closet in there since I'm making room for a plastic storage unit in there for some of my clothes.

I may try to watch some of my Gatchaman DVD's I have from Netflix. Although, if the first episode is any indication, I doubt I'll be able to watch them with a straight face...

I sent you an e-mail. I wish my lj entries were as light-hearted as yours are, perhaps people would post on mine. I wish you would reply to my e-mails more often. People constantly say I think too much. I'm tired of telling the world that it doesn't think enough.

Yeah I got it. Real life sometimes prevents me from replying right away, so no worries.

I don't think it's about you thinking too much. I think you worry too much. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow instead of wondering where it's taking you. You're far too young to be weighed down by the stuff you are. Don't worry about the far future at the moment. Just live in the present and take it all one day at a time.
