One of these days, I may stay at work for a whole day. Today's reason for coming home early? The network was down. And since I can't do anything when the network is down, I decided to pack it in and go home. Dunno what's gonna happen tomorrow.
It. Was. Awesome. Now, keep in mind, I haven't finished the book, but I was with people who had and they really liked it.
Boy, I tell ya, Sirius was working the threads. Someone on Cleo's journal said he looked like a pimp daddy. *snickers* Still, he looked pretty good in a velvet jacket.
I couldn't stand Dolores Umbridge. Ugh. I mean, torturing the students and calling it punishment?! And all that pink. I like pink, but in small doses.
Have I mentioned how much I love the twins? The fireworks in the testing room was fantastic. I loved it when they blew all those stupid proclamations of the wall. Ha!
The secret room was cool. I loved how it tricked Filch and the others.
Ginny's Patronus charm was a horse! Cool! And Luna's was a rabbit. He hee...
Speaking of Luna, I though she was great! She may have seemed a little spacey at first, but she showed she had a good grasp of things.
Wow, Ginny's pretty strong. She got a lot of spells really easily. And they were pretty powerful, too!
I did wish they had shown more of the flashback with the Marauders.
*whistles* Boy, Bellatrix sure has a lot of crazy. A LOT!
Even though I was expecting it, Sirius' death was still pretty emotional. Plus, the battle between the Order and the Death Eaters was really cool. I loved it when Sirius punched Lucius in the face.
And the battle between Dumbledore and Voldie was AWESOME. And the way Dumbledore called him "Tom." Heh. Plus, when he disappeared after being confronted by Umbridge and her cronies was wicked cool. Like Shacklebolt said, "He's got style."
In other words, I'd so be willing to see it again. Maybe the next showing won't have as many people dressed in costumes...
Tomorrow mom and I are going out to dinner so she can use a gift certificate that the doctor she works for gave her. Sweet!

I was actually surprised the scene with the Muraders was in it... I expected it to be cut. But how they dealt with it and just HINTING at what happened was enough, any more would be gratuitous.

And with these movies especially, you get people with the big hats, which tend to get in your line of vision, even with stadium seats.
