snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Gren -- Play for Me)
Mom and are are maybe, possibly considering kinda sorta moving to Tennessee in a couple of years or so. Now, nothing is definite, it's just that it's something we may be considering for the near future. Mom's always wanted to live up there and she wanted to do it while she can still enjoy it. She says she sees too many patients come in with too many regrets. Me, I'd be happy up there, I think. I've got nothing really holding me here. No relationships and I'm not in school. Plus grandma's not here anymore, so there'd be no reason to stay for her. I'm kinda sick of Florida. I miss the change of seasons and actual landscape. True, it'll be colder, but I think I can endure. So mom and I are gonna sit down this weekend probably and discuss and possibly come up with a plan of some sort.

It was pouring buckets on the way home from work today, which I then had to drive in. Such fun. And I'm not talking a nice drizzle. I'm talking deluge. I had to stop by Wal-Mart first because I needed some stuff for lunches then I had plans to stop for gas, but it was too rainy, so I just went home. I fixed some hot cider and a S'mores Pop-Tart and changed out of my wet clothes and into my pj's. So I feel very comfy now.

Oh, and a small project for you all. Whenever I eventually go over to my new job, I want to decorate my workspace with pictures of my friends. So, if you would, if you'd like to send me pictures of you so I can print them off and put them on my workspace. You can e-mail them to me if you'd like (or post in a comment, either/or). My e-mail addy is in my profile.

I agree. You should try not to have too many regrets in your life. Good luck with planning the move.

Hey, that's cool :) I have an Uncle in Knoxville and a friend who just moved there.

I agree about no regrets. I think it's rather dull to stay in one state your whole life - I've lived in 3!

Oh, and you can go to Dollywood xD

Well, so far we're just in the discussion stage. Nothing is set in stone just yet.

That's the area we're looking into.

I've only lived in 2 so far. Technically three if you count Michigan in the summers...

Yeah, DollyWood looks like fun!

Ooo, Tennessee? That sounds fun. ;p Very uh, southern, but the good kind of southern. The kind of place I would like to live one day.

Cool coool. Mmmhmm.

I love rain, everything about rain. Only right now when it rains here its hot and humid rain, not cool rain.

I love getting comphy. ;p

Four if you count Ohio. We lived there for a couple of years back when you were about 2 or 3.

Any particular part of Tennessee you're thinking about? It's a beautiful area. I happen to like Nashvile myself. Lots of music.

Actually, where we live now is further South than Tenn, but it doesn't feel very Southern.

I like rain, but I don't like driving in torrential downpours.

Comfy is very nice.

Yeah, I vaguely remember the buckeye tree in the front yard. Was that the house with the green carpeting and the spiral staircase, or am I thinking of a different house?

There's a little area near Knoxville in Western Tennessee we're leaning toward. Nothing is definite yet. We're just in the discussion stage.

Oh, well I know that, hehe. xD. Florida is southern, but I'm kinda thinking the southern drawls, queen anne style home, front porch swings, you know, that kind of thing. Haha.

(I'm going to move some day to a place like that. I want to be a southern belle. ;p)

I think people in Tennessee are considered "hillbillies." Heee...

Yeah, that sounds pretty nice. I love wraparound porches.

That was the house in Anna, the first place we lived in Ohio. After that we moved to Elyria and lived in a brown house. Then we moved back to Indiana.

Knoxville is nice too. Lots of mountain scenery.

Thanks for the call last night. It made my day.

I remember I used to be scared I'd fall through the stairs, so I'd scoot up and down them so I wouldn't. *laugh*

Yes, it is. The area we're thinking about is very close to Smokey Mountain National Park! It'd be really cool to go camping there!

You're quite welcome! Always glad to make someone's day!
