Well, here I am, on my bed at the Holiday Inn!!! Wheeee! I'm going global now, baybeh!
Anyhow, last night we went to se PotC 3 (more on that in a bit) and we didn't get home until about 2 in the morning, which was kinda weird. Plus, it was on a "work night" so I felt like a bit of a rebel there!
We started off today a bit later than we had anticipated. Instead of arriving about 1:00, we got here closer to 3:00. Traffic was a major factor in this. But the garden where the wedding is being held is absolutely beautiful! I can see why weddings are held there. I'd want to get married there. I'm playing the CD with the music and the sound system is in the garden shed, which is off to the side of where the ceremony is being held. So mom and I are on walkie-talkies and we're gonna signal each other so that I can come out to see the ceremony itself.
Saturday afternoon and Sunday we're going to Busch Gardens, so that'll be fun. I kinda wish I had someone to ride the roller coasters with since mom dislikes them. It's more fun to ride them with someone. Not gonna stop me from doin' it though.
Overall an excellent film. A couple of things though:
It was hard to understand what some of the dialogue was since there was either accent issues or talking over action sequences. This is why I like captioning so much. You can puck up on things like that.
The Capt. Jck hallucination scenes were a little weird.
Norrington goes out heroically, saving Elizabeth and her crew.
I didn't like the ending. Davy Jones is killed, but Will has to take his place (only in order to save his life since he was stabbed by the sword he'd made in the first movie (ironic much?). That wouldn't be quite so bad if Elizabeth (whom he was able to finally marry, in the midst of a fight scene interestingly enough) were able to stay onboard the Flying Dutchman with him, but it didn't look like she was able to. Not being able to see your husband except only one day every ten years? That sucks.
Other than that, excellent movie!!
OK. this might not be very coherent, so bear with me.
CHARLIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why'd they have to kill off Charlie?!?!? I really liked him!!!! *fnarls*
Hurley saves the day! Alright, dude!
D'wah?! A flashforward?!?!?! WTF!!!!
Speaking of which, the future doesn't look so bright for Jack.

Hurley was awesome! I felt so bad that everyone kept telling him he couldn't help because of his weight (will we see him lose it later in reaction?), but when I saw him plow down the baddies with that van.. Man oh man! Way to find your strenghts and run with them!
The thing that really got to me at the end was how strange Kate looked with makeup. I've gotten so used to the characters having the natural look, so she just looked too odd. The next season can't come soon enough! They definitely found a great hook to keep us waiting!

I like Hurley a lot. I think he's awesome.
I didn't pay any attention to the fact that Kate was wearing make-up. I was too stunned with "Whaaaa?? Kate? Jack? Not... on... island?" *brain breakage*

enjoy!
