I'm feeling a little punchy today, so out comes the snark.
Ugh, work is such a killjoy recently. I almost headdesked a few times today. Sorting papers ad nauseum is tedious times a trillion. Plus, the filing cabinet I'm using is getting full. Really full. My fingers were sliced to ribbons trying to cram papers in yesterday.
Sooooo, unless I get a heads up on what I'm supposed to be doing next, I'm going to go and alphabetize what I've already alphabetized. Thrilling.
Tomorrow is the Relay For Life, which mom and I are going to be participating in. Our first. I'm glad we're going to be doing it, because Cancer Research is important to me.
However, this also meant I had to get track pants. I have shorts (which I will probably wear tomorrow due to us being so near the surface of the sun), but I doubt I'll have anytime whatsoever to go and get changed and showered before I get to work, and the area I work in is like a meat locker, so shorts are not an option.
This in itself brings up an interesting dilemma. Finding track pants that fit. I'm no Fat Fanny by any means, but neither am I Slim Sadie either. I mean, a little pooch I can deal with, but since my metabolism is beginning to turn on me, things aren't gonna be pretty. This should've been brought to my attention a few months prior when I was trying on jeans, which made my upper thighs look like blue denim sausage rolls. Plus, length was an issue since these things never seem to be made for people under 5'6".
But, I eventually found a pair (as well as a track jacket since I'm a dork), and they don't make me look too much like a black sushi roll, so I'm happy. Plus, the clerk who checked me out was kinda cute…
I've made myself a vow. MORE EXERSISE!!!! No more little jelly rolls over my pants!! No more mini badonkadonk butt!!! I must whip my willpower into shape!! *sobs* Damn my stout German heritage…
Let's see how long this lasts, what with my profound indifference and fatal procrastination.
