Waking up to both a scratchy throat and a headache is not very fun. Luckily the headache went away relatively quickly. The scratchy throat, not so much. But, it gave me a perfect opportunity to use my new electric teakettle! *gleams* It's better now, thankfully. Hopefully I can stop the germies before they take me down and out for the count.
Mom stayed home from work today. She seems better now, so she'll probably be going to work tomorrow. She's so thrilled.
Speaking of work today was a thrill a minute. We received word that the doctors are a little upset that the documents they want aren't being scanned into the computer database fast enough. They complained to our supervisor who, in turn, griped to our former supervisor for the OB/GYN offices. She called our Team Lead and told her what was going on. Our supervisor was they saying that the staff isn't scanning the necessary document in fast enough and the scanner we use is more than fast enough to handle the documents. We however aren't machines for Pete's sake. We can only go as fast as we can. I mean, it's not as though we're slacking by any means. It's just that there's an awful lot of documents that need to be scanned and we only have one scanning machine to try and handle everything. Not to mention the fact that there are sometimes problems with either the computer or the scanner itself. So needless to say, it was a bit frustrating. All I can do is just do the best I can and hope it's enough. I'd rather go for accuracy than speed.
I have no idea what I plan on doing tomorrow. I do need to go out, at least for a little bit since I want to get a binder in order to make up a mini-scanning book for my OB/GYN cheat sheets I photocopied today. Hopefully it won't take me too long. I have stuff here at home I'd like to try to do.
As you can clearly tell, we skipped out on Bible Study tonight. Mom because she was sick, me because I'm kinda tired and don't wanna go out again tonight.
Since the contest is still on, I'll post my Darth Who name tomorrow. I may wanna take a bubble bath later on, I haven't decided.
Ooh, tea's ready!
