I was going into work this morning and I somehow ended up behind Santa. At first, I just thought it was someone wearing a Santa hat, but when I changed lanes to turn, they were fully decked out, beard and all.

I took pictures of our decorations at work. Just for fun. I may post them eventually.

Man, I have a lot to do this weekend. We need to get groceries on Saturday and mom said she needed to do some shopping "on her own." *wink wink* I need to do some shopping of my own as well. Luckily we both got paid today. Whoo-hoo!

Somehow I got roped into contributing food for the Christmas part on Tuesday. I tried to weasel out of it by saying I don't cook (which is true), but I've been drafted into buying some Macaroni salad. I swear, the woman who corralled me is wasted in reception. She should be a hostage negotiator! I folded like a bad Poker hand.

I actually was able to write some more of one of my stories last night! My muse has returned, at least for a little while. Let's see how long she sticks around.

Well, now to decide what to fix for dinner. I have a basic idea, but I just need to get up and actually fix it.

Trivia of the day: Actor Robert Mitchum served time on a Georgia chain gang as a teenager. He had been arrested for vagrancy.

Hee hee! Why thank you! I guess I can write pretty decent if I put my mind to it.

Yeah, I bought it this evening. Like I said, I don't cook unless I really really really have to. My cooking consists of opening a box. If I die from eating too many processed foods, well then, that was the way I was meant to go.
