Man, this week is gonna be hectic. I can feel it in my bones already...

My weekend was pretty hectic also...

Saturday:

Morning was pretty low key. Mostly just relaxing and such. Always nice to do.

Afternoon was a bit more full. We went to the Mail place to mail off the package she had for my aunt up North and we went to the ice cream place that was nearby. Mom then wanted to go to Lowes because she wanted a few more plants to set out on the porch. We got some mums, summer snapdragons and a lily.

Then we went to the Body Shop party. I spent too much of course, mostly on make-up. I don't even wear much much make-up, which mostly had to do with not really going anywhere to really need it. Now that I'm working, that may change. Although, I work with a bunch of women, so it's not really necessary...

After that, we went to the mall so I could get some clothes for work, which I did, then we went and got groceries. So a lot of money was spent. It was payday on Friday, so it wasn't too horrible. XD

Sunday:

After church, we spent the majority of the day cleaning. Since we generally don't get to do it during the week, weekends are the only time we really can do it. I did the bathroom (and the laundry) and mom did the kitchen. Afterwards I swept the floors. Then, as a treat, we went to the movies to see Flushed Away. It's really very cute!

Mom may be close to getting a car! She does has to do some figuring with her 401(k) and all, but if it means I can stop being a taxi service, I'm all for it. She said she may have to borrow a bit from me so that she can finish paying off the loan she has on it, so it means a delay in my laptop purchase. But hopefully only by a week or so. *crosses fingers* So I'm fairly happy about that.

And I was successful in getting the Halloween pics uploaded! Yay! I'll probably post them tomorrow... hopefully.

Trivia of the day: Australian scientists have identified some species of baby spiders that bite off the limbs of their mothers and slowly dine on them over a period of weeks. The researchers hypothesize the maternal sacrifice keeps the young from eating one another.
