Well, I completed my first day of work aka "training." Basically they had me pulling charts today so I could get a hang of the system. It's not really that hard. However, I had to be on my feet all day, and I didn't exactly plan for that when planning my wardrobe today. I had on a really cute skirt and sweater/top combo with these really cute wedge heel shoes. Had I known what lay ahead, I would've perhaps dressed differently. By the end of the day, I was ready to chop my feet off at the ankles. After lunch, I had to resort to chucking my shoes and doing the rest barefoot, relatively speaking (since I was wearing pantyhose). However, my back paid the price for it since I was technically standing on a concrete floor, albeit thinly carpeted concrete floor... But, I do admit to being awfully cute in my Hachi-mode.

Tomorrow I plan on dressing in a nice pair of slacks and comfy shoes, even though I was told I'd be doing more computer work (which was what I thought I was going to be doing today). I hope I can get the hang of the computer program I need to use for the electronic stuff. It took me forever to try and figure out how to use my Photo Shop, and even now there are still some features I'm not 100% sure of, but in that case, I was pretty much on my own.

Speaking of Photo Shop, I bring a few goodies.

I think the third one is my favorite one. I was trying something new. I couldn't find the border I wanted for the second one, so I had to improvise. I don't have text on it because 1) it looks really good without text and 2) I suck at adding text. I sorta got lucky with the "Darth Sexy" one (and yes, I am that shallow).

Now, I'm off to fix me something to eat, shower and soak my aching feet. Just call me "Tenderfoot" from now on...
