If I had a wireless laptop with Internet capabilities, I'd be out in the living room watching The Phantom of the Opera at the moment. It's on HBO and I can't get it back in my bedroom. Oh, well. I have it on DVD, so I could watch it in my room anytime I want to.

At the moment, I'm experimenting with my Lost.fm station. Interestingly enough, it has a J-rock station on it, which I'm listening to now out of curiosity. It's... definitely different I have to say. My music profile in on my LJ profile page. It has a list of the songs I've listened to.

Still haven't heard form the doctor's office yet. I'd contact, but they never left me any contact information. I really suck at that sort of thing. I should've asked, but my mind was too busy focusing on what I should say to not sound like an idiot. It's a bit discouraging though. It makes me wonder if there's something that's inherently unemployable about me.

I have a feeling the Red Tide is coming to pay me a visit soon. My chocolate cravings have increased and I've been breaking out, much to my utter disappointment. So, I've been in an uggo mode lately. Mom made me a batch of brownie mix for me to nosh on when I get my urgings. I also got me a couple of candy bars. Best not keep me away from my chocolate if you know what's good for you... *snarl*

I read the first volume of Ouran Host Club yesterday, and I've been greatly enjoying it. Honey reminds me so much of Momiji. And I love Tamaki's reaction when he finds out Haruhi is really a girl, especially when everyone else had already figured it out. And the twins. THE TWINS!! Those two are always up to no good, but it's so funny. And Tamaki's plans to try to get Haruhi to tap into her feminine side always seem to backfire on him. And, after the first volume, I'm already starting to kinda ship them.

I need to make an appointment to get my haircut this weekend. It's a bit unruly as it is now. I can't really do anything with it. I forget the last time I had it cut.

ETA: "Update Captain's Log"? WTF?! *laughs hysterically*

Trivia of the day: The United States was waging the Mexican War when gold was discovered in California. In fact, California was officially still Mexican territory at the time.

I'm hoping to start reading Ouran this week, too. *confesses herself a Tamaki/Haruhi shipper* I wonder how the anime will wrap things up, though. I don't think they can pair her with anybody in two chapters, so it will probably end on a nice, friendly note, but I think it's still too soon to end it.

I got a haircut this past weekend :-) Hope it goes well at the salon, and they give you a haircut you just love.

Yeah, as I was reading my FL, I discovered it was in honor of National Speak Like A Pirate Day. If you look, the little person next to your username has an eyepatch on. I laughed out loud when I read my journal as pirate speak (http://tech.jmc.ksu.edu/testbed/pirate.php).

Well, the manga has 7 volumes so far in English (I dunno how many in Japanese), so it's too soon to say, really. I hope to read more today if I have the time.

Yes, I'm getting quite frustrated with my hair at this point.

Ouran High School Host Club is teh win XD! I love that manga. Right now I'm only on volume 4 and I think episode 8. Kaoru and Hikaru are little devils indeed. That's why they're two of my favorite characters ^__^v. I must tell you that the best is yet to come though. Enjoy it!

So you crave chocolate around that time huh? Wow. Maybe I should ship you a crate of Wonka bars. Wouldn't that be nice ^^?
