Well, it's official. My TV kicked the bucket. It's been on the fritz for awhile now, but I was hoping it would hold out at least until I could afford a new one. No such luck. Luckily my desktop has a cable hookup so I can watch my shows through it anyway. Hopefully I can procure a new one for a decent price in a relatively short time. I want to get a flatscreen because if I'm going to get a new TV, I wanna cool one!

Of course this also means I'm unable to play any of my Wii for an indefinite period of time. Mehhhhh...

Work today was kinda slow. I think because a lot of the snowbirds go back up north for the summer, we don't have as many patients being seen so not as many charges get posted. I have to try and streeeeeetch the ones I've been getting to last me throughout the rest of the day. The rest of the time? I'm surfing the internet. Mostly TVTropes. I have to do it clandestine though. *sheepish*

God is it hot out! I feel like I live in one of the Nine Levels of Hell or something! It's only JUNE!! August is gonna be torture. Our A/C is acting up too. It takes forever just to get the place cooled off, spiking our electric bill up. Lovely. I dunno if it's because the unit is older or because of where the location of the apartment is located in relation to the sun or what. I just hope the issue, whatever it may be, can get resolved before we 1. roast to death in our own personal oven or 2. go broke trying to maintain a comfortable temperature. Man I love Florida in the summer!!! /sarcasm
