snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Spring (ceruleansan))
First of all, I just want to thank everyone who responded to my post yesterday with their support. I really appreciated it. *group hug* Things are better now. I think it's mostly because mom's under a lot of stress at her job and it kind of overflows into other areas.

We have a family of birds nesting somewhere I think. They're outside our bedroom windows chirping their little hearts out and we have no idea where they are. Maybe I should get Kureno to help me find them...

Mom spent most of the time yesterday after work trying to figure out how to get our DVD recorder to work. We have some things saved on our DVR that we want to try to burn onto discs so that we can erase them from the DVR, but we need to figure out how to do that. She did figure out how to copy something from a VCR tape onto a DVD, so that one thing tackled. Something else that needs to be figured out is how to do our surround sound. Technology. They say it's supposed to make our lives easier, but only if you can figure out how to use it.

This morning I passed by a dead kitty on the road while I was taking mom to work. I went another way on the way back, because I didn't want to see it again. T_T

Today I need to go to the bank as well as make a few phone calls. I guess I need to get off my duff so I can read through my FL and take a shower...

Trivia of the day: Because orange roughy grows slowly — the average fish is between 30 and 50 years old — the New Zealand government has imposed fishing restrictions. Consequently, the fish is not as abundant in stores as during the 1980's.

Oh... the family of birds sounds cute. ^^ I like waking up to the sound of birds chirping. ^^ (Unless I really need to sleep some more and they don't want me to.) I also like wind chimes. <---random fact

*hugs* Hope things are going well for you today. ^^

They don't bother me or anything. In fact, I quite like listening to them. Mostly I'm just curious as to where they're nesting. The only trees we have around here are pine trees, and they don't have a lot of branches usually. Mom said they can sometime nest in bushes and we do have some Hibiscus bushes around, but I'd think that'd be kinda risky. Too many predators. Of course, they could be nesting in the eaves of the building...

I also like wind chimes. We have a set of larger ones that make a neat deep sound.

And yes, things are much better today. Thank you for asking. *hugs*

Did you find out where they were?

I should think about getting another wind chime for my dorm room. I have one, but I really only bought it because the colors in it were so beautiful. It doesn't sound pretty when the bars chime against one another. ^^;

*hugs* Glad you're feeling better!

Nope. Never did. My Kureno I have in my bishie closet was of no help whatsoever since he isn't cursed anymore and has no idea what they're saying now. *sigh* I still think I'll keep him, though...

You should. I always find wind chimes to be very soothing. Someday I want to get me one from Japan...

Thanks!

Yeah, I think Kureno's pretty good at being a pimp now instead of looking for birds. XD But I'm sure back when he was cursed that those female birds hit on him ALL the time. XD

Yeah, but I have him handcuffed to my two other bishies, so he's not gonna get very far if he tries to escape. *evil laugh*

I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, that one female cat was hitting on Kyo and got jealous when he started to talk to Tohru...

Hm, don't you think that Kureno enjoys being handcuffed a bit too much? ^^; (I mean, he brought it up with Tohru and all...)

Oh dear, I'd feel so bad for poor Kureno if that were to happen. I can just see him at 10 years old, sitting in his back yard and playing with some of the birds, but he doesn't understand why the female birds keep attempting to chase him... or something like that. XD

*splorfle* You are so perverted. I think you've been hanging out with Shigure too much...

I think it'd be the male birds chasing him since he'd have all the female birds flocking to him...

Me? Perverted? Whatever are you talking about? *grin*

Yeah! The male birds would be like, "Hey! Give me back my girlfriend, man!!" (Kinda like how Havoc is always losing his "girlfriends" to Mustang in the FMA anime. XD)

*snort*

Like in that one episode! Bwahahahaaaaaa!!!

Man, I loved that episode. Havoc was just in shock all throughout the episode. I felt so bad for him all the time I was laughing my ass off!

Yeah! And when Havoc had a crush on the nurse who was taking care of him in the hospital and she fell for Mustang instead? And also, in the episode where Mustang and Ed had to fight one another (Flame vs. Fullmetal)... there were people shouting from the audience, "Give me back my girlfriend!" XD

Yea, I'm a night person as well. I mean, I don't stay up until 3AM, but still pretty late...

Once I start to work, I have to curb my night owl tendencies or else I'll be a zombie in the mornings.
