I had a bit of another emo moment last night. I seem to be getting them more frequently lately. I think it's because our time is starting to run out. Just a forwarning though, it may get more intense as time goes on...
Last night's Veronica Mars was good, as always. I liked the character interactions last night, especially. Veronica's shock at Logan winning the essay contest was priceless. Although, it does sort of make you wonder... The bantering between him and Woody was fun. I do have the feeling that Woody's hiding something, though. The incident with the video for instance. He seemed bothered by it, but then he gave an explination which seemed... odd. Good thing Keith is smart enough that he made a copy of it. And Logan was up to his snarky self. At the dance, with Woody's daughter (they were at the ticket table), and his efforts to try to get her to shut up, which she was too clueless to figure out. Luckily Veronica swooped in to save face. And you can totally tell he's not over her. When they danced together... *squish* And when they high-fived in the car, staking out the witness to Felix's death. Way cute. Speaking of which, just when things might actually get resolved in that case, Thumper goes and gets himself tied up in the building that was being imploded. And, how ironic was it that Logan pushed the plunger. And I really liked how Jackie asked Charlie to the dance, and not to make fun of him, either. That was really nice of her. Poor Beaver and Mac, though. I thought they were so cute, but then, for some reason, when Mac asked if Beaver was embarassed about going any farther (which, I thought, the way she put it, wasn't too bad), he ends things leaving Mac totally crushed. I kinda wonder what went wrong, exactly.
Well, my search for RK 25 crapped out. Usually it's on the shelf fairly soon. I guess I'll try again next week. I did manage to wash my car, though. Unfortunately, I ran out of quarters when I was vacuuming out the inside, so I only got it half done. I was able to finish vacuuming once I got to the house, however I seriouly lacked any Armor All to do a decent job on the rest. Oh well. It's definitely better than it was before.

Trivia of the day: Male and female sea turtles are about the same size.

I usally don't do comments on shows, but I felt compeled to this time for some reason.

Ugh I hate those vacuum things at the car wash, why can't they just accept dollars?

Well, the only other thing I had was a $10 bill, and I wasn't about to use that.

- Logan and Veronica's conversation sounded to me like Logan lifted the essay from somewhere (some movie or something?) and she knew it.
- It seems to me like Woody was truly confused about the video, and then found out what it was - probably something that implicates him in the bus crash, or something. Hence the immediate need to try to get Keith to drop it. And I think Keith was fully aware of this.
- I melted when Logan and Veronica danced. I guess she grabbed him just so he wouldn't stick his foot in his mouth, but her impulsive decision led to some raw feelings for both of them. He looked like he was fully in the moment, in awe that she would willingly put her arms around him again. She seemed half in denial, glancing at him and looking away just as his eyes would start to bore into her soul... *shipper squee*
- Someone blew up Thumper *AND* the evidence of his spider bike. GRR! I think that will have negative implications down the road....
- I don't think Mac did anything wrong at all. She was right to initiate a conversation about something that has been bothering her. Beaver obviously has some hot buttons in the area, based on his overblown reaction and the putting-off of anything physical for months. My guess is he's been teased by Dick so much that he feels too intimidated to do anything (and might have physical symptoms of that, meaning he can't get it up, furthering his insistence that he doesn't want to get physical with her). He thinks he SHOULD have all this sexual knowledge and experience, but freaks out because he knows damn well he doesn't.
It's too bad. They're both sweethearts and were great together. I'm guessing they'll get back together after working some stuff out. *hopes*

Yeah, I caught that as well. She even named the movie, but I forgetthe title at the moment. Methinks Logan intentionally wanted to win... for some reason. Hmmm...
Now that you say that, yeah. Plus, his wife is a total control freak. Not really related, but just thought I'd mention it. And Keith is one smart guy. Probably where Veronica gets it from.
*squees again* Yeah, I thought so too. It's like, there are definite unresolved feelings between them. He can't really put up a front with Veronica because she always calls him on it and I think, deep down, he needs that. *squish*
Shit, meet the fan.
Yeah, and Dick's enough of a jackass to razz him about it, too. *grr* I guess Beav's insecure enough that he figured no girl would want to get close to him which I guess was one of the reasons he liked Mac. Not that he didn't find her pretty or anything, he probably did, but I guess he thought she wasn't the sort to really want to pursue a physical relationship. Which is totally bogus, 'cause Beav's a cutie and Mac's a red-blooded girl who genuinely likes him.
I hope so to. I found them to be adorable...
