I went to see my cousin in the hospital today after work. She has a congenital heart defect and she had to have a defibrillator installed not long ago. Well, she was with her sisters and it went off a couple of times. So she was taken to the hospital and is waiting for a bed to open up at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. She may need surgery. The exact name of her condition is Idiopathic Hypertrophic Subaortic Stenosis aka Hypertrophic Cardiomyopothy. The thing is, she's only 19 and pretty healthy otherwise. She also has a severe learning disability and isn't in school and unable to work, so she has no insurance to cover the expenses.

I'm doing the laundry and getting ready to pack for this weekend. We're going to see Michael Bublé tomorrow evening in Orlando. We've decided to make a weekend thing out of it. We booked a room and we're going to my old college campus and see what changes have been made since I graduated. I think there's quite a few, actually. Then we're going to the mall and do some shopping. I know we have a mall here, but the ones there are bigger and have more stores to choose from. Plus, I wanna see if the new LOTF book is out yet. I've heard a few people have gotten their mitts on a copy already. *eyes rurouni_jedi*

I didn't go to the gym today because of the Red Tide. Urgh...
