To continue with your subject line, she'll be waiting to greet you when you pass on as well. It's hard to lose someone, but if you truly believe in your faith then you know the separation is only temporary. Just keep that in mind while you deal with the grief. (It helped me come to terms with mine.)

Oh, I know I'll see her again someday. I just hope it'll be a fair distance from now. And even though I know she's in a much better place, I'll still miss her presence here on earth and I probably always will, as I'm sure you do too in regards to your loved one.

Yes, even years after losing loved ones I still feel the pain of separation, but I know it's not forever, so it makes it much easier to cope. I just really feel bad for those people who don't believe they'll ever see a loved one after they pass. (And time is all relative. What may seem like many years for you will pass by quickly for those on the other side.)
