snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Sei and Okita (lilsuika))
Sorry I'm late with my entry today. I was at the movies. Mom still has the day off (she goes back tomorrow, much to her consternation) so we went to the movies. She went to see Glory Road while I went to see Nanny McFee. I really liked it. I'd probably go and see it again.

I also bought some books yesterday. I bought the second 'Kikaider02'. I still don't really like the art, but I do like the story. This is actually a first for me. Usually when I buy a series, I like both the art and the story. Here, it's just the art. I also bought Shinsengumi: The Shogun's Last Samurai Corps. I blame both 'Rurouni Kenshin' and "Kaze Hikaru' for getting me interested in the Shinsengumi.

Any way. I have a meme today. Someone sent ti to me via e-mail and it was interesting, so I'm gonna post it here. It's one of those info ones.

1. IF YOU COULD BUILD A SECOND HOUSE ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
Hmmm, that's a toughy. I could live anywhere really, but ideally I'd like to live on a large plot of land (as long as I could hire someone to mow it for me), with easy access to a city.

2. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING?
I don't really have one.

3. WHAT IS THE LAST CD YOU BOUGHT?
I don't usually buy them for myself. I mostly recieve them for Christmas.

4 . WHAT TIME DO YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING?
Around 8:00 AM

5. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE KITCHEN APPLIANCE?
I don't really have one. But I guess a dishwasher would be nice since I'm the one who usually does the dishes.

6. IF YOU COULD PLAY AN INSTRUMENT, WHICH ONE?
I think I'd like to learn to play the guitar. That's be cool.

7. FAVORITE COLOR?
Blue. It's so calm and soothing.

8. WHICH DO YOU PREFER, SPORTS CAR OR SUV?
Sports car. I don't do any thing to really justify an SUV. Besides, they use a lot of gas.

9. DO YOU BELIEVE IN AN AFTERLIFE?
Yes.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOK?
I loved to read the Berenstein Bear books

11. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?
Spring. Everything is new and fresh in spring. Besides, it's not too hot or too cold.

12. IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
A toss up between flying and invisibility. On one hand, I'd like to be able to feel the wind rushing past me as I skim the trees and stuff, but on the other, my natural curiosity would benefit from being invisible (who, me? Nosey?)

13. CAN YOU JUGGLE?
Not really. I had to try and learn for a class once, but I lack the coordination to really do it effectively.

14. THE ONE PERSON FROM YOUR PAST YOU WISH YOU COULD GO BACK AND TALK TO?
My sister. I barely knew her when she died and I'd love the chance to be able to talk with her.

15. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE DAY?
I don't really have one.

16. WHAT'S IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR?
A cooler and my car washing stuff

17. WHICH DO YOU PREFER, SUSHI OR HAMBURGER?
I like both, actually. I mostly eat hamburgers, but I have eaten sushi a couple of times and thought it was pretty OK.

18. WHO'S MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND FIRST?
I honestly don't know.

19. WHO'S LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND?
I honestly don't know.

20. WHAT TIME IS IT NOW?
2:19 PM

21. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FLOWER?
Daisies. They're so cheerful

22. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL? My mom's spagetti. I've tried and I can never make it like she does.

23. WHAT BOOK(S) ARE YOU READING NOW?
Twilight (The Mediator Series) by Meg Cabot.

24. IF YOU HAD TO PICK A DOG NAME, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I don't know. It would depend on the type of dog it was and the kind of persoanlity it had. I'm more of a cat person anyway.

25. ARE YOU A MORNING OR NIGHT PERSON?
I'm a night person. I find it a lot easier to stay up late at night than get up early in the morning.

26. DO YOU DO ANY CRAFTS CURRENTLY?
Not really. I try to be crafty, but it doesn't last very long. I did make a couple of beaded braclets and I'd like to maybe do more of that.

27. WHAT U.S. STATE WOULD YOU LIKE TO EXPLORE?
Just one?

28. WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING THAT YOU DID THIS MORNING ONCE YOUR FEET HIT THE FLOOR?
Thought to myself, "It's morning already?"

29. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW?
Nothing, but I usually listen to my iTunes since my stereo's in storage.

30. WHAT WAS THE LAST DVD YOU WATCHED?
12 Angry Men

31. DO YOU HAVE A PHOBIA?
Not a true phobia, no. I used to be afraid of needles, but when I wnet into the hospital a few years ago, I over came my fear. I had to. I had to have blood drawn almost everyday.

32. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DRINK?
Mostly water. I like Country Time lemonade and apple juice

Trivia of the day: A building in which silence is enforced, like a library or school room, is referred to as a "silentium."

I can juggle, but only two balls - kinda defeats the purpose xD

So, the movie was interesting then? The commercials for it really weren't that impressive, in my opinion. Then again, I haven't really been wow-ed by any movie commercials as of late. Hmm... maybe the movie advertisment people need to step up their game.

Yeah. I had to cheat and just toss all three into the air. The TA for the class said, "All they have to do is be in the air at the same time." So they were.

Yeah. It helps though that I saw the full trailer for it on a different movie. "Narnia" I believe it was.

The book, unfortunately, was written by someone who was a fan of the other guys, so it's rather biased. The end made me cry, because of the way he went about describing Kondou's death. =|

I really want to see Nanny McPhee. Glad it's good!

I haven't started it yet so I can't make a sound opinion as of yet. Besides, it was the only book on the subject that was there.

Yeah, it was good. Sort of like 'Mary Poppins' but with a twist. I'd probably go and see it again sometime.

I had read a review written by a Shinsengumi fan, and I still tried to go into it without bias. .....But being obsessed as I am is a bias anyway, you know?

Oh yeah. Absolutely. I don't have a bias one way or the other, so I think I can go into it with a somewhat level head. But I never said I was level headed in the first place!!
