Actually there were much more than just two, but just go with me here.
Saturday we went to a Ladies Tea hosted by one of the ladies at church. It was very nice. I've been to other teas hosted by her, but they were usually more intimate and this time there were over 20 ladies present. I had an enjoyable time, though. Afterwards, we did a few minor errands (since we were out and mom and I were basically shanghaied... so to speak). Later on that evening, my uncle and my cousin came with us to eat dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We called ahead, but we still had to wait quite a bit once we got there. My aunt who lives down here was getting a little annoyed. But, eventually we were seated and placed our order. I also ordered an apple-tini because I was curious to how it tasted. It wasn't too bad, actually. I'll be posting pictures of it further on down (as well as some random ones.
Sunday we had a dinner for my grandmother's birthday (which is today, actually) and my cousin's (which is Wednesday). It was just hamburgers on the grill, but it was still pretty good. We had strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Before I get to the picture post, I will say that Friday I spent a great deal of time making the covers for the Shikito fan mix
flamika made. Being my first, it wasn't too bad actually. I told
miyabita13 I'd post them on here, so I shall.
Front Cover
Back Cover
Not too bad for my first time.
Now that that's out of the way, it's picture time!!

The menu. It says, Finger Sandwiches: Rosemary and Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Ham; Tomato; Cucumber; Egg Salad, Scones: with jam and cream, Variety of Pasteries: Pecan Tarts; Lemon Curd and Butterfly Cake; Chocolate Butterfly Cakes; Banana Toffee Cake; Chocolate Mousse Tarts, Tea: Taylors of Harrogates English Breakfast.

Quite satisfying...

Cheers!

Don't forget Happy Hour...

The necklace
flamika sent me.

The necklace on me.

My new hat I bought
[insert image of me wearing hat]
It looked too terrible, so I didn't post it...

And the disarray my room was in when I reorganized. Note the cat atop everything.
That's all for now! Later on I hope to go to the bookstore and get a few books I saw and wanted.

Trivia of the day: Brazil shares a common border with all South American countries, except Ecuador and Chile.

The ones withthe tea cup and the martini glass I'm thinking of iconizing...
Yup. I love it. I only take it off when I shower.

Pshaw, your room isn't bad at all. You should see my room!

Well, it's not like that all the time. That wsa just when I was in the middleof reorganizing stuff.

That explains it. ;)

Glad to clarify. Besides, I think I'd find it awfully difficult to sleep if I had that stuff on my bed all the time!
*chuckles at icon*

BTW it has been awhile, I took sort of a hiatus when school and other things started back up and got lost in the commotion. Hope all has been well with you and the weather warmer than it is up here!

That'sOK. I know how hectic RL can be, especially with school and everything...
Things have been decent with me and the weather hasn't been too bad. It'sbeen both warm and cool, but that's typical for this time of year.

I'm glad you made the covers! They look great! ^_^ *hugs* Hope you're having a great day!

Actual tea houses, we only have one, which I've been to once. It was pretty nice.
That picture was one of the better ones. The one with me and the hat looked horrid, so I refuse to post it.
And I'm glad you like the covers. I'll try not to be too critical about them as I am wont to do...
