snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Last Unicorn (savifa))
Boy, was this weekend a fun one. /sarcasm -- First of all, on Friday, my computer crashed. I kept trying to figure out how to fix it, but with my limited computer skill, I didn't get too far. Eventually we figured out it was a virus of some sort from something I downloaded off of Limewire. Now, all the times I used it before, I never caught a thing, almost a week after upgrading my Limewire program -- BAM!-- I catch something. Am I the world's biggest jinx or what? So I had to go and buy Windows XP again (good-bye, Christmas) since the one I had bought originally was in storage. Then we had to reload it (along with an Anti-Virus program). It works since I'm back online again (obviously). So now my task is to try and locate all of my bookmarks that I had (which were quite a few). I didn't lose everything and was able to find some that had been saved... when I still used IE. However, my ones from Firefox I haven't been able to find. And I lost all of my stuff in My Documents, which included a ton of stuff I downloaded as well as my digital pictures.

As if that wasn't enough, Saturday night, after coming back from errands and eating a nice dinner at Cracker Barrel, I get severe stomach discomfort. I mean, it was pretty bad. At first I thought I had gotten food poisoning from something I ate, but then I called mom (who was staying with my grandmother) to ask if my grandma was feeling OK since we had the same thing. She said she was fine. So it must just be me. I was feeling wretched enough that I skipped watching FMA and SC on TV that night. Needless to say, I didn't feel up enough to go to church the next morning.

By mid-afternoon, I was feeling better, so mom and I decided to go to the movies. We went to see 'Pride and Prejudice.' I was familiar with the story since I've read most of the book and have seen the mini-series several times. Mom, not quite so much. Now, I had to stop myself from comparing the movie version from the television version which I fell in love with. I thought the movie version was very well done, actually. The setting and the costuming were a little darker, but I thought it was a bit more realistic that way. The dialogue wasn't changed too much and for me, it was a little easier to comprehend. I dunno. Maybe I need a slightly dumbed down version after all, as loathe as I am to admit it. The scenery and the music were absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't object to getting the soundtrack for it. And I was very surprised to find that Jenna Malone played Lydia! I kept picturing her from the movie 'Stepmom'. Come to think of it, she was kind of bratty in that one, too.

This morning I was a little queasy yet, but I feel pretty OK now. I just hope that whatever it is I have, it goes away soon. I hate feeling crappy...

Well, I'm going to read my FL, anf try and find some more links to reestablish. Oh, joy.
