You know, I'm surprisingly lucid for having woken up at 5:20 this morning. I don't know how long it will last (probably not very), so I'm going to take advantage of it as long as I can and do a post.

Mom's procedure went fine. As of now she's in the living room on the pull-out bed since the waterbed she usually sleeps in is too high for her to get into comfortably. At first she was on my bed, but I kicked her off once the sofa bed got set up. Actually it'd be easier for me since I can keep a better eye on her that way.

I actually took pictures of my stuff (i.e. rice bowl, snacks et al) yesterday along with a few others. I may actually get around to uploading and posting them sometime next week... if I don't get too lazy, that is.

I tried looking for a 'Kaze Hikaru' (here she goes again) community on here, but nothin'. I mean, aside from a few RP communities focusing on the Shinshingumi and the

shojobeat comm (which I already belong to) -- zilch. It's a little dissapointing, actually. Dissapointing, but not too surprising actually since there seems to be a dearth of regular websites about it as well. But then again, the same could be said of 'Immortal Rain' of which I found only one website along with a fanlisting. It does have an LJ community, though (

_immortalrain, in case you're curious).

I was able to get ahold of my friend and we've made plans to go and see 'Harry Potter' this weekend. She mentioned 'Doom' but I nipped that one in the bud. Random shoot-em-up's aren't really my cup of tea. So my duty is to look up showtimes at two different theaters and then give her a call tomorrow sometime so we can settle on a specific time. I'm looking forward to it, actually. I haven't been to the movies since Methuselah was a pup.

Time to wade through my FL, look up showtimes, read my funnies and... take a nap.
