I was able to see the raw scans of Ch. 118 finally (see, I knew if I were patient). Now, I knew what basically happened due to seeing others reactions on their journals, so I wasn't quite as thrown as if I'd seen them first. But here's what I wrote, courtesty of Fruity Group:



Oh, Kureno, you silly silly, but incredibly sweet man. Make sure she
put the knife down before you go to comfort her... *whispers* please
don't die...

The thing that really struck me was the scene when Hiro was freed.
Just the simple moment between him, his sister and his mother together
was just so tender and sweet. It made me realize just how lucky Hiro
was to have a mother who truly loved him even though he was cursed.


And in the flashback, when Akito was out in the rain, the image of
someone with long hair who was facing away, I think it might've been
Rin. For one thing, it's definitely someone in a school uniform and I
doubt Ayame would do that, despite his eccentricities and Tohru's hair
isn't long enough. As to the lightness, well sometimes recollections
are a bit washed out so everything looks lighter.

Just my two cents...




Now, I've gotten some responses (which is virtually a first for me), and they say that the girl Akito is flashing back to is probably Tohru. There are some who say it's really Ayame, but I doubt it since she's clearly seen wearing a school uniform. Anyway, it may very well be. I mean, I'm just speculating is all.

I downloaded a crap load of brushes yesterday, so maybe I'll do more iconing. I don't know as of yet. I still need to make a table and do a couple of headers for my graphics journal. I'm being lazy, really.

I've been compiling my Christmas list. Fair warning, dad, it's pretty long this year...

Well, I'm going to read my FL and then there's a few more things I'd like to do before I log off, so I better get that done so I can do the stuff I need to do around here...

Eeeek, what's going on in Furuba??? *cries* I tried to join Fruity Groups (emailed and asked), but something happened with my email and then everything went boom and . . . yeah.

Hiro's been freed? YAAAAY! Anyone else besides him and Kureno so far? And is the lifting of the curse different for each individual??? *dances*

Well, so far Kureno, Momiji and now Hiro have all been freed from the curse. It seems to be happening quickly now. Akito is even more unstable as she stabbed Kureno (hopefully not fatally since I just love him to death), and is now out in the rain, still with the knife, in an unstable state of mind.

Momiji was only fairly recently freed. Akito went and begged him to stay, as she did with Kureno, but Momiji declined. Since he can't go back to his family, and the girl he loves doesn't feel the same (Tohru), he's decided to try and live for himself from now on. So far, no one else knows of him being freed.

Tohru is reaching a point where she wants to confess how she truly feels to Kyo. Rin is still staying at Kazuma's and I doubt she'll ever go back to the main house ever since she was locked in the cat's room. Haru still makes sure to go and see her often. *squee*

Well, if your e-mail has stablized any, try trying to rejoin again. I know there have been major problems with some of the fanpoodles begging for the scans, which limited the membership, but hopefully that's no longeer a massive issue anymore. I'd love to be able to see you on there since you're oneof the more stable fans.

And I've used many forms of the word 'stable' in this response...

Ack! She stabbed Kureno? Nooooo!!!! *cries* I hope he's going to be all right, that'll just be awful! Yay for Momiji and Hiro!

*laughs* That's like me and access at one point. ^^ I just hope that, if they did send me the invite after I asked for it, they won't mind sending it again. I was reading up on the rules and everything, and noticed what you mentioned about the people and scans. I just . . . don't want to step on any toes.

I knoooow!!! I want him to recover so he and Uo can get together (I just love them). He's such a sweetheart...

It's been drawn out long enough, so maybe it's finally come to a head at this point. I think a lot of the major storylines are beginning to come to a close since there's a rumor that the series is going to end after 22 volumes. Right now, I think is the start of vol. 20.

And I totally forgot to comment on the icon thing. I can't do animated ones (yet), but maybe I could whip something up for you if you'd like.

22 volume? Waaaah, that doesn't seem long enough for all the storylines to come together and have a good resolution. *sniffle*
