snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Pip -- OAV (dreadnot))
Well, after all the grief I poured out here and on the forum, the problem I've been ranting about seems to have fixed itself. All I did was do an Error Guard 'sweep' and I guess that did the trick. Still, I opened an account on ImageShack just in case...

And there's a house in our neighborhood that's for rent. According to the sign it has four bedrooms but only one bath, which means I'd have to share with my mom. I guess certain sacrifices have to be made. *sigh* I, however, am still waiting to see what the appraisal will come back as and to what our neighbor will do...

And I finished the first season of FY. Just before we find Tamahome's family was murdered (by, I assume from the previews, Suiboshi). All I need to do is watch them in Japanese (and I really want to hear Tasuki's Japanese voice) and turn them in. I'm kinda reluctant to do so since if we move, things might get lost in the jumble. So I might wait a bit.

And I received notice that I should be getting my Hellsing 7 soon. And I have my Kleenex all ready.

Speaking of Tasuki, I made and icon of him (and most of the other sechi) yesterday. Wanna see?

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I like how one of the brushes I used (actually a texture) brought out the highlights in his hair. All I have left to do now is make the ones for Chiriko and Mitsukake.

Not only that but you're also going to see meet Soi... kinda. You don't actually SEE her until a little later on. Oh... and fair warning... you might need tissue for the next disk... and half of the series in general.

You'll also need lots of will power and Kleanex for the next volume of Hellsing. You know what the Kleanex is for... the willpower is so you don't throw the book across the room and start yelling at it like I almost did.

*has her Kleenex ready for Hellsing and the next instalment of FY*

Yeah, I have to steel myself in order to read #7. I have a feeling I'll get the pages all wet.

Damn, it... and he was my favorite character too. I may need to have a few moments to myself afterwards...

*is already snuffling in anticipation of Hellsing 7* Pip . . . .

Heh, Tasuki has a fun Japanese voice, especially when he freaks out. ^^

Keeping my fingers crossed for you in regards to the house. *hugs hugs*

I know. If only I didn't love him so much...

And whadja think of my Tasuki icon?

But you can't help but love him, rough edges and all! ^^

I thought it was wonderful! I loved how the brush you used brought out the highlights in his hair. Usually, it's so darkk you an't really tell that it's a bright orange and not a dull red. ^^

That's what's so lovable about him. So what if he's a little perverted, that's what makes him Pip!

Thank you! I used a flame texture (naturally) over top and I was really happy at how it brought out the highlights. I was like, "I didn't plan on that, but I like it!"

Yep! That's exactly what makes him Pip. *huggles Pip*

*cackle* I love it when things happen that I didn't plan on. ^^ One of these days I'm going to learn how to make quality icons, and then the icon world will never be the same. *cheers*

*huggles Pip as well... which he loves*

I was pretty crappy when I first started out, but then I gradually got better. There's still a lot I need to learn, like how to make animated icons, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually...

This Hatori icon, for instance, was one of my firsts.

Ooo, yeah, animated icons. I've had one in my head for a LONG time, but I can't figure out how to make it work. *sigh* Oh well, maybe someday.

Ooooo, but it's a wonderful icon! much better than my first attempt, which was so small you couldn't tell WHO it was. ^^;;

Yeah, I felt that since I was doing so many, I might as well have one...

Yep, Rain's a cutie all right... *sigh*

Thank you . This one of Rain I did was one of the firsts as well, (which I have since redone in order to have a clearer image of his hotness).

I have a graphics journal, [livejournal.com profile] starshine76, but I need to do some minor tweaking of the layout...
