Thanks to everyone who gave their support to me as I was in my doldrums yesterday. I really appreciated it.
Things are better today. I mean, the situation hasn't changed, just my outlook. Of course, I could relapse and find myself down in the dumps again, but time will tell.
I may -- may-- have a possible job. A potentally cool job. A guy who's in the praise band at my church owns a guitar shop. He actually makes and sells guitars (and I think other stringed instruments as well). He needs some help in his shop to ease the workload for him somewhat. I've been mulling it over and I think I'll talk to him on Sunday and see what it entails before I commit myself or not. Of course, I know next to nothing about guitars, but I think I can learn.
There's also a job fair at the local community college. I may pop on over and take a look. Of course, I cave to correct the typos on my resume that someone made for me. I mean, how professional would it look if you hand someone a resume and you have 'available' misspelled on it.
My car sitch is still somewhat iffy. Mom put some anit-freeze in it this morning. I'm not going anywhere today (unless I go to the job fair thingy), so I'll have to watch my gauges and stuff. Tomorrow I have to take grandma to her volunteering and I'm gonna tell her that we can't go to anywhere else, really.

Quote of the day: "If my hands are fully occupied in holding onto something, I can neither give nor recieve." -- Dorothee Solle <-- actually yesterday's quote, but I didn't feel like putting it up.

I'm sure we'll think of something...

That's awesome about the guitar store. Good to take something now in the meantime while you search for something better, anyway!
How was the job fair? That's a good idea, too.

It does sound cool. Nothing's definitive, though. I'll talk to him on Sunday and maybe I'll have a better idea. I'm keeping my finger's crossed, though.
The job fair was kind of lame. There weren't very amny venues and there were a lot of college ones, technical ones, recruiters, and some such. But, at least I went.

Good luck with the car, too.

My car is doing better. We added some anti-freeze/coolant and it seems to be pretty cooperative so far. I'm still gonna baby if for a bit, though.
